  1. Just done a search of a few sites and all give part numbers for: 550 as 5371669-01 560 as 5371669-01

    261or362

You can buy Husky saws & parts online. FR Jones even does a collect & deliver service if things do go wrong.
  3. If you're considering the MS 261, then forget the 560, especially since you already have bigger saws. The MS260 is a cracking and has many devotees. The MS261 is less popular ; I reckon mainly due to them eating clutch bearings. Got to keep them greased. Both the 550XP & 560XP have had their problems. But both models seem to have had their problems sorted. The 2013-2014 ones are much more reliable. If it was a choice between a 260 and 550, the decision would be tough. Between the 261 and 550 it's easier, (unless you're a die hard Stihl fan) go for the 550XP.
  4. 5gig heck! What were you updating, an MP's expenses dBase?
  5. Of the stated 16GB, 3.2GB is taken up with the OS and Apple's bundled apps. Leaving you with 12.8GB useable storage. So if you've used 12.3GB and the update is 1.3GB, then you'll come up 0.8GB short. So even if you're able to free up the required 0.8GB. It still leaves you with the problem... zero storage space. You either have to choose which apps you really need and what you keep on the pad, rather than transferring to your PC, (if you have one). Or you get a pad with greater overall storage - 32GB or 64GB. Also, have a gander through here: http://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201656 and here: http://m.wikihow.com/Manage-the-Storage-on-Your-iPad
  6. There's something not quite right there. You got any memory hungry games hanging around. By the way, how much is the stated total storage of your pad; and how big is the stated update?
  7. Have you got loads of photos and music? If so , try only having the music loaded you're going to listen to in a few days. Transfer photos to PC/Mac.

    stoggling

It's a cracking read and in essence, explains nothing: http://superficial.sourceforge.net/docs/facets/core/superficial/SToggling.html . Or maybe it's a way of helping someone believe they are getting fitter: http://www.westernmorningnews.co.uk/ve-acquired-taste-stoggling-sadly-appetite-includes-food/story-11742970-detail/story.html . It doesn't score much in 'Scrabble' and in any case, it's a shameful waste of an S and two Gs.
  9. Asking for thoughts on a piece of equipment A or B or C, is always a good read. As it invariably turns into E or F or G and H are better. Asking whether the OP should aim at manufacturer S' or H' or E' or D' or M', and similar happens. Someone is bound to mention Silky.
  10. I say, I say, I say, How many caravan owners does it take to make a 'GreenMech' commercial? I don't know. How many caravan owners does it take to make a 'GreenMech' commercial? Seven (Not funny I know but somehow true.)
  11. Even if it's true, this is bonkers. What if logs are delivered Mr., Mrs., Mis. or Miss somewhere where there's not a restriction; but then the buyer takes some or all of the delivery to their holiday home where there is a restriction? More money for old rope that's being yanked by someone else.
  12. Kent's a bit far, so it's going to be a warm place me thinks.
  13. Helping sister & brother-in-law with extension. So did wiring for outdoor lights & speakers tuther day. Today was wiring for kitchen-diner: LV spotlights, LV feature light, HV circuit, quad speakers, RF, CAT6 & security. Tomorrow back to sifting reclaimed soil for finer stuff, ready for mixing with seed to re-seed/patching new lawn next year, after both interior & exterior building works complete. Cedar cladding to be fitted to vertical sides of extension's extended canopied roof and inside-below 5m x 2.6m glass lantern.
  14. Chilly but fine; lots of cloud so no frost. Which is as well, as I've been running wiring all today. Then it's back to sieving soil tomorrow, (unless the cedar arrives, in which case, it'll be boarding and oiling).
  15. Some of that would make lovely turned bowl, etc. Where abouts ate you.
  16. If you're spending a good portion of the day sharpening. Why not take him aside while you're doing so and teach him how it's done? He'll have to learn at some point. Better now than letting it drag on. Explain why it's done the way it is and also explain, that if the chain becomes blunt, be it a magical occurrence or simply that it does. Then he will be expected to either carry on with the blunted chain or sharpen it.
  17. Bit nippy this morning but mild during day.
  18. I dare say in some places you might need it. Perhaps as an applicator for whole plant pesticides, (How safe this would be I can't comment on.) But if it's just extra watering... on the whole in the UK, one just needs to wait until tomorrow if it's not raining today. The mechanisation of mystical chanting, hand waving & the occasional sacrifice.
  19. Canopied stoves suggest a greater surface area, so in theory radiate more heat. I don't actually know if this is true or not. Whereas a flat-top can get round this, by placement of a fan such as these: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wood+stove+fan&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari&gws_rd=ssl . Plus you can if you so wish, use the top as a hot plate for cooking. Personally, I prefer a flat-top for the aforementioned reasons. Though if you have room and need for a really big stove. There are some models by some manufacturers, that have the option of a flat-topped canopy. Bit of both worlds. Looking face-on like a 1950s semi detached. (I can't recall which ones. So you'll have to look for them yourselves if you're interested.)

    christmas

I'm late with my shopping this year. I've still to get two birthday and one Christmas presents.
  21. Perhaps there's something caught in the locking mechanism, which is physically jamming the latch.
  22. 23mins. and no input from Spud... must be busy.
  23. Interesting to see it fail, only after the motor got stuck on something. Also, interesting to see how much wire/flex these appliances come with but of more interest, is the way the base just jiggles on its pallet platform, while the rest self- destructs.
  24. Got a chain back to about a mil from the witness marks recently and still cutting like new. As Rob D said, it's all about angles; and a more sharpened chain, the more one has to take off the rakers after a certain point. The chain finished its days, when it hit old top wire buried in an apple tree, (removed the tops off almost every cutter).
  25. Still on the south coast and it's fine, even sunny at times. Last night was out viewing the quite frankly under-welming 'Garden of Light'. But then went for an interesting meal. Afterwards walking back to the car, I passed a lass with very nice legs, that must have gone up to her shoulders. While trying not to blindly wander into other people, I was then passed by a stunning lass, who had poise, good dress sense, lovely hair, a nice voice and a pair of the most shapely legs I've seen side of a goddess. The like of which mere mortals go to war over. It was a mild night as I remember.
