  1. Feel for you , I remember the pain well and hope it never returns . Hopefully you’ll get some relief soon . In my experience the painkillers that took the pain away precluded me from normal life , so I made do for years on co codamol 30/500 , I was 10 a day laterally , not a good move !! Just keep nagging the medics .
  2. Aye , Sounds identical , anyway I was told mine would see me out so I hope it and me last a few years ? good luck to us . regards
  3. Hi Baldbloke , What type of joint did they fit ? Reason I’m asking is I had a replacement in 2013 after being diagnosed in 2000 , mine is ceramic and the surgeon told me it would see me out !! I’m 58 by the way . Anyway mine has been great and I am doing everything as normal but it was fully 2 years before the twinges and aches stopped fully , so don’t go mad on it too early . Good luck ?
  4. Real hard one this , I have similar problems wi one of mine , likes a smoke too much . Always having to be told everything three times and forgetting stuff on a regular basis but is a good worker and not always on his phone and never off work . The driving thing is a real pain as it ties you up start and end of day , I eventually got fed up with running after him and told him to make his own arrangements or get a new job . He ended up buying a 125 motor bike . Dunno what the solution to your problem is , good guys are hard to find so it’s a bit of a double edged sword . Best of luck
  5. Happy New Year Paul ?
  6. Looks like honey fungus to me .
  7. Pfanner arborist type A for hot weather are the best I have tried .
  8. Have they sorted 261’s out at last ? I had one , couldn’t keep it going on sprocket bearings ended up with a new crank under warranty !! It got binned in favour of a 560 , which incidentally has been faultless .
  9. Scumbags for sure , stealing a working man’s tools is the lowest of low .
  10. We have been using fs400’s or years with little or no problems , now we are on mostly 410’s and they have also been excellent.
  11. First saw of my own was a new 1986 Husky 61 , brilliant saw never let me down .
  12. Really common fault with Rangers , my brother has a garage and does a load of Rangers for various farmers . He says 8 out of 10 he sees are leaking there . Seems there is no long term fix either .
  13. I keep asking the dealer when they are coming and he keeeps saying he’s still waiting ! I’d love to get my hands on one . Did you get it in the UK ?
  14. White stuff about 1” and -7 according to the Hilux .
  15. Know how you feel Steve , age / back pain / weather taking their toll on me , so thinking along the the same lines as you . It’s been a long wet winter here , maybe some good weather will bring a change of heart . Enjoy the next step whatever it turns out to be .
  16. Still is a Stubby , I’ve seen him live 42 times , one of the best shows you’ll ever see .
  17. Very nice Paul , good luck mate .
  18. Got about 8 inches here , snow that is !!
  19. My 660 is on a Stihl ES 36” , always found them to be good . I also have an iggesund 25” which gets occasional use , found it to be pretty good too .
  20. Starting back tomorrow , can’t stand any more time at home with my missus !!! Before Christmas I was thinking about starting a wind down to retirement three day week , but a week and a bit stuck at home in atrocious weather has taught me that full time work till I drop is the best best .
  21. I have the sip jacket , as said it’s hot for working in unless it’s sub zero . I prefer the cut and climb front Clark’s .
