  1. My Missus was timing me planking there , she got fed up at 3 minutes ish and went to make a cuppa !! I keep telling her I'm an athlete :001_smile:
  2. I was sceptical and bought one for my 461 , it's had a good beating and holding up really well . Stretch has been minimal and it sharpens really nicely . If you are cutting dirty stuff you can't go wrong , I would definitely buy again .
  3. Have you ever visited the Fortingall Yew up my way Paul ?
  4. I've got some holly at the back door and it looks identical.
  5. My Spud ported 346 and 357 have taken over from my 560 these days , but my trusty 372 is still used most days
  6. It'll be fantastic I'm sure, I've had a Tahr jacket for years and it's been amazing , pity no one imports them in bulk .
  7. They look like something straight out of Mumbai , covered in ugly bling
  8. I recon so , I changed mine from new , I'm sure the original was 3/8 lol pro too
  9. I'm running 3/8 Stihl chisel lp on mine , on sugi pro bar .
  10. I've got a shed and a bit of space on a farm £250 a month , Cheap and no mess at my house .
  11. The point I was trying to make was you don't speak for Scotland and neither do I . Some of the stuff I've been hearing recently is downright racism , I don't know about you but I find a lot of it offensive , everyone has their own opinions and it seems some are not shy in expressing them . We are supposed to be living in a democratic country , a majority in Scotland voted to stay in the UK and a majority of the UK voted out of Europe , if we don't respect that it is no longer democratic. I for one believe in law and order and respect , but as you say times have changed .
  12. Not everyone shares the independence vision as was proven by a very recent vote . I was brought up to believe that politics and religion should be kept private. Unfortunately the nastiness is rearing it's ugly head again .
  13. Very nice
  14. I still have a magnum version , it's a real good machine , hard as nails and has never had a problem. They just don't make them like that anymore , get it bought
  15. So sorry , it is heartbreaking.
  16. Aye 100% agree , that's why I was scared to buy the 576 and got the 390 . Still running two 372's too , one of the best saws ever made IMO ! If work gets quiet I might end up spudding one or both .
  17. My brother has a garage and uses a snap on tools ( cebora ) mig 140 , says it's good .
  18. Dunno much about the 576 as I don't have one , had a 575 for a short while and the crank failed , so I replaced it with a 390 , I recon it was one of the best moves ever !! It is a fantastic saw , awesome on a 24" bar . Highly recommend it.
  19. Planner arborist .
  20. That's cute as !! Pup's nice too
  21. Wore Bashlins for years until I got a set of Geckos , best for sure .
  22. Pity it wasn't last month , you could have told her you won them in the raffle .
  23. I have two 560's and they have been brilliant , unlike any of my recent Stihl's
  24. I have bought many axes and mauls from top of the range to bottom , X27 for me ! But I do like my 22 ton petrol model
  25. If yer gonna use it every day save up or get a loan and buy a new 560 . A good 357 takes a bit of beating , it's getting a good one that's the trick . You could buy one well used and get Spud to give it the treatment !
