  1. Respect my man!!!👍👍👍
  2. Wind, lightning, thunder, hailstones then wind, lightning, thunder, hailstones.... And so it goes on. The wind is hard going, wears you down eventually, had weeks of it now, need a bit of calm I think!
  3. It's been very enjoyable, bit of banter and bit of work and you turn out something like that! The timber came from an old chair the tutor had in his house. Any idea what the wood is? None of us do!
  4. Or, when does a log become a stick? This is my first attempt. Under instruction of course
  5. Went into the pub with my mate last night and there was six guys kicking the out of my mother-in-law, my mate said "are you not going to help?" I said "nah, six should be enough".
  6. Maybe it's a very big dog!!
  7. If it was a " bona fife profession" then it would be looked on as such, but it's a manual labour, back breaking, fuel stinking job, like brickie, joiner, plumber, etc. Best just to get on with your job and if you're not happy then try something else! Supply and demand will determine your wages most of the time.
  8. Wind seriously strong tonight, tiles rattling like buggery on roof, here's hoping they stay on😬!
  9. Not having a go at your postage costs, I'm very used to this living where I do. I tend to think Royal Mail is best for us up here, why would you say it might not arrive? Not had many bad experiences with myself. It can get frustrating when the product you want is right in front of you, so to speak, and you end up purchasing an inferior item somewhere else. 😞
  10. "You're not a doctor... You're a big, fat curly headed Dale! Step brothers.
  11. Mull

Settled then!👀 The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong.
  12. Will do Jon, sounds like you all had a good night the other night!👍👍 The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong.
  13. Thunder and lightning followed by strong winds and hail showers, think santas on his way!!
  14. Wanted to try save edge files, so went on your site Rob, put a few files and a stump vice in basket then checked postage and that killed it for me I'm afraid! Highlands and Islands! Nice place to live, not a nice place to post to I guess! Ended up gettin Woodroc files on another site. Never heard of them myself, will see how they do!
  15. http://www.hornershearing.com/acatalog/used-item-209.html May be of interest!👍
  16. This whole thread has left me feeling a bit melan'collie'
  17. Aye bob, very exposed here, dogs were in the shed at the time poor buggers, but they were fine, guess you were a bit more sheltered at lochbuie?
  18. Aye, next week, there's always next week, take care bud, no need to do crazy stuff eh?
  19. Careful with that bush my friend!!
  20. My garden shed which panned in the wing of my car and ripped of the door mirror, the joys!
