  1. Fireboard every time. Easy cut, easy fixed. Unless you want fabricator/ welder involved? Don't see the need really, unless steel is only option!
  2. Guess it's ok to use this oil then? In older out of warranty saws.
  3. Isle of mull, west of Scotland. No surprise at price of fuel then !! Don't even ask what a loaf of bread costs:(
  4. £1.55 for derv up here!
  5. Was looking for some axle stands, did you get them from screwfix?
  6. It's just you, I'm afraid!
  7. Some kind of stop for a flywheel/ cog type thingy!!!
  8. This could turn into 'husky or sthil'! Lol
  9. Yeah, point taken. But the ' in most situations' could easily mean 51% of situations, and GPS' have to decide which reports are relevant and which aren't. I think the vast majority would advise against making medical judgements from google, which we all tend to do.
  10. Info link does not seem to suggest that injections are not recommended, just gives pros and cons of various treatments. I was advised by GP last week that he would happily administer injection if anti- imflammatorys were not successful. It is the GPS' choice I believe and not a nationwide recommendation.
  11. Think the word you're searching for is 'chuck'
  12. 'A mans not complete until he gets married, it's only then that he's truly finished'

  16. Cheers spud, It's not my machine it's one we use at work, just wondered incase he was going to bin it would it be worth taking home and attempting a repair. I bought the 630 super 2 from rich on here a couple of weeks ago, Very pleased with it, good saw. Reckon it's about 20yrs old. What's the story with it, how did you come across it? Just curious! Cheers Mull.
  17. For cutting concrete/steel etc. TS400 2 stroke.
  18. Using sthil saw today( not chainsaw). Used it 3-4 times this morning, no probs, Went to start it again it was just about solid, wouldn't pull, felt seized. Took plug out, pushed piston down dropped some oil in, repeated this and it started and ran, sounded a bit ill. Noisy. Big end? Small end? Any thoughts?
  19. ' if you want something done, ask a busy person! Makes sense to me.
  20. Also have found that cheaper nail packs sometimes have thicker paper holding nails together and jam up gun all the time......not much fun!!
  21. Can't be sure about this, but have read that although cheaper nails might not be a problem, apparently the gas does not have the adequate lubricating capacity that paslode does, not easy to argue either case without being a scientific mechanic!!! If there is such a thing.
  22. Might have been worse, he could have named you ' sue '
  23. 100% positive feedback is not as reassuring as when you're buying a set of brake pads!! Or is that just me?
