Need to get stove hot to heat rads and hot water, but kitchen where stove is gets too hot, maybe need to vent out of kitchen with inline fan to rest of house or hallway at least. Often wonder if smaller stove would heat rads quicker and not heat kitchen so much?

21kw stove Jon, wee bit on the big side I think but a good stove. What do you burn your timber on yourself.

It's interesting stuff! Guess we take a lot innovations from nature, remember reading about the guy designing the cutter on early chainsaws on the jaws of a wood eating bug. You guys will know all about that one I'm sure.

Have watched these beasties when they land on roofs while we're doin sarking, they bore in to it 10-15mm in seconds, scary looking buggers though !!

If beading doesn't just pop out by using a chisel or the like, sometimes rubber seal between beads and panel will pull out making it easier to get beads out, alternatively could you cut hole for cat flap with panel in situ?
