  1. Concorod?? Conkered?? Conquered, ahh that's it.
  2. Well I suppose that's a good enough reason!😃 Kitchen where stove is gets too hot, but it doesn't travel through house too well, but it does run 11 rads.
  3. Loft space would normally be insulated from rest of house and therefore should be cold, is there a reason yours gets warm Stubby?
  4. Nae chance! Although, a slightly better cance than us! But only slightly!😞
  5. Could be that there is an offset in chimney where it's hot upstairs, any bends or offsets would heat up a bit, any idea what kind of flue it is?

Not sure where you're coming from here mate, this is a forum that is available to everybody on the planet with internet access, that's a lot of people!! Undesirable posts are always going to be there I would imagine. At the same time I take your point, but only in an ideal world, which it's not!!!!!
  7. Apparently 45 degrees is not a good thing for stove flues, 35 degrees max! Hot spots in flues shortens it's life.
  8. 5 miles north of our house, by boat obviously! Strange lump of rock!
  9. Mainly use stove kettle to fill electric kettle, must save a penny or two on leccy bill, probably just a penny or two literary, with 8.something % going on leccy it's not to be sniffed at!
  10. After using it for about 3yrs now Jon I felt if it was a bit smaller heating pump would come on sooner and more often with the kitchen being a bit cooler as a result! But having said that, still think stove is best part of the whole house.
  11. Kettle very handy Jon, stove a bit too big I think for size of room and house. But can't fault it, apart from me making the wrong decision on size!
  12. Aye Jon it's in kitchen, gets a bit hot at dinner time when hob and oven are on too, quite cold last few days, bit of hailstones amongst the rain yesterday, nice to get home and park your backside on top of stove!👍
  13. 100% beech, 100% bloody roasting in here!
  14. Fire board, concrete board, 9mm, 12mm thick maybe more sizes not sure, might get away without liner but I guess stove is designed to be most efficient with recommended liner.
  15. Bit dreich and drizzly but not cold, autumnal I guess!
  16. Haha. Then get jailed for ripping off yourself !!
  17. You're probably right. We look at a product, think that's far too expensive, then buy it, then complain how much it cost!!
  18. Is choosing to overpay a criminal offence?
  19. Can companies overcharge, or do we just insist on overpaying? It is our choice after all. £12 per month contract sim only on an an old iphone 4 btw.
  20. I think what has happened here is: You were delivered a builders bag = 0.7 cubic metres, 4.5 of logs 2.5 of spaces between the logs, you then took the logs out and stacked them and you left all the spaces in the bag! If you still have the bag they might still be there.👍 Should read: 0.45 and 0.25!! Obvs
  21. Still some left bob if you fancy it. Haha.
  22. It was ok willtimber, but give me mince an tatties any day of the week!!
