There should be less ticks where sheep are or have been, I know they put sheep on grouse moors to " mop up" ticks because of the damage ticks do to the grouse numbers. But of course they don't soak them all up, to which your dogs will testify I'm sure!

Cool diff lock, appreciate your opinion, making something that is almost obselete shiny and new is a passion I guess. Each to their own I suppose! Mull.

Can't think of any reason not to put mesh down, if cracks do appear then mesh will stop them opening up! Someone once said " there are two types of concrete, that which is cracked and that which is about to crack!" I'm told the wetter it is, the more likely it is to crack. That's my tuppence worth!

Had Scheidel twinwall on our 21kw wood burner for last three years, no problems so far, think they overplay the insulation value of it though, the outside of it does get very hot, even in the loft of a two story house.

I think the moderators will do as they see fit, that is their job on this forum. Because they "appear" to have the same opinion does that make them the "greater good"? I doubt even they would agree with that.

Just been a quiet week, I guess it's quality of posts and not quantity. It's just a personal observation Steve, I don't think you need to be quite so defensive, it's a great forum, I don't think many would argue with that.
