Good for her, it's a bu@@er of a habit, will finish book an give it a go! Wife smokes too, also a nurse and seems to be against the idea of the tablets( or against the idea of giving up!) Smokers We're a dying breed!!!

Interesting, book is very convincing while reading it, got to finish reading it before attempting to stop it says! Daughter bought it for me which puts a bit of emotional pressure on too, no bad thing!

Not retained but a volunteer, only two of our crew are retained, been in about 15yrs. Don't get many shouts here, mainly chimney fires and false alarms good intent. Don't attend training nights as much as I used to, should probably chuck it an let somebody more enthusiastic have a go!
