  2. Steam Rallies, hunting deer and wild boar in Germany, messing about in the workshop fine tuning equipment, growing vegetables badly.

  6. I think all of the above posts in my case, love some of the old stuff, maintenance is key, like to try new stuff as well if it gets the job done easier ...saws 97 chipper 98 and some new stuff hahaha
  7. P&P are great bunch of guys they will look after you well with sales and workshop which is always a bonus! I looked at one of these in there a few weks ago, might get one myself.

  10. Have seen this one before, can't wait to see the log splitter, there is one of a french guy using an old citroen BX to drive a splitter. Found this on one of my estates its a concrete saw so not all that different!

  12. I have just bought a 25L Stanley oil free with all the basic air tools from Screwfix £99, mainly for blowing out saws and pumping up tyres at home. You will need a extension hose 10-20m as the curly pigs tail hose supplied is only 2m long Lidl have a 50L (tools extra) for £79 this Thursday The Last 50L one I bought for one estate was about £150 but came with a free tool box and set of spanner, pliers etc. Compressor worked ok but the wheels collapsed! You pays your money and takes you pic, one thing they are all incredible loud when charging, will have to soundproof mine for use at home.
  13. I have cirummed one again to the pile of gardening equipment in Lidl...already have the Chainsaw sharpener. My Stihl KM series Hedge Trimmer attachment is getting on a bit and I have a lot of hedges to trim, started last week. The Electric Long Reach Hedge Trimmer (split shaft) for only £69.99 complete is a bargin. KM Stihl Attachment alone about £255.00. So far I have worked out that you have to use the Florabest clamp onto the KM Engine unit, will run it up tomorrow Wed 09 and report back. S.G.

  17. If anyone wants a brand new shepherds hut, we have a guy rents a barn on the farm, he only makes 6 a year, they look really nice.

  20. I tried a .404 on it and it fits ok
  21. Had mine a couple of yrs now, excellant on damaged chains, discs all same size seems to me, fitted a disc off my Oregon on the bar sharpener to do .325 chains , think the one that comes with it does 3/8 type 91. All available on Amazon 3/8 .325 .404
  22. Yes I had to go down on my hands n knees under the wooden fence as I sprayed that bit after hahaha should have let the cows have a go at it but they prob wreck it all.
  23. Chepo B&Q £88 38cc with Oregon 14"" powersharp chain n bar for snedding and roadside emergencies behind my seat, my lovely (spud restored) 254xp 15"" for anything else.

Ok so here's a little hedge, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Field Maple, Beech in between old hedge out of sight and finally "out in the open " at the end, wooden fencing due to collapse in a few yrs so hedge planted to replace it. I strimmed the planting area, planted hedge, then went back with roundup to kill off the grass a few weeks later, as you can see weeds have taken over already.... needs another spray if we get a few dry days before winter.
