  4. I use a Stihl KM56RC with various makes of accessories they all work, currently using a Lidl Electric split shaft hedge trimmer in it! Have used Ryobi attachments in a Stihl when my Ryobi engine died, changed each bit out for genuine Stihl as they wore out. Sent from my SM-J320FN using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Its been said before! Its not the machine that needs 40:1 they allow for the fact that you might be mixing petrol with 20/50 engine oil. Stihl Green is 50:1 as it's specially formulated (other fuel oils are available) Aspen might be a better plan as it keeps so much longer for occasional use.   8. I complained to my brother in law that I was bored flying a desk at a Computer Company. He ran his own lawn mower repair business and suggested I might like to go mow one of his customers gardens as the old chap was finding it heavy going, turned out to be 1 acre with an old 21"" Roller luckily self propelled.   9. There's also the Oak Processional Moth, catapillars have fine hairs which cause severe burns when touched, when inhaled cause breathing problems for asthma sufferers.   12. I have mine booked in with my mechanic for a service and a "carbon wash" which is all the rage apparently. It wont do much mileage and I was worried about things blocking up.   17. Hi Dave, I try and go every couple of years. Lots changing, lot of the old rubbish gone, new barns. There building a Station! 40 Steam Engines this year, bikes,cars,tractors , tree trucks n heavy recovery.   24. My 04 Berlingo Multispyrs 2.0 HDI has 178,000 on the clock, know all the things to expect. Alternators every 80,000 heater fan resistor every 4 yrs. Finally changed the clutch and gear linkages at 169,000 apart from that just tyres, pads and usual service items nothing else. Tows 750kg unbraked, 1.4 ton braked enough for me.
