Hi Steve, not sure whats happened to pics tried to upload from phone. Will post shortly when I can find whats happened to them. -
Had a go a while back, started with mushrooms(all seem to start there). Anyway thought I'd try something more challenging and owl was obvious choice.

Is it normal practice on a busy main road to have a flat back parked in the direction of oncoming traffic with no warning signs and for the flat back to have a guy with no ear defenders, helmet or harness, standing on the back as the vehicle moves, cutting the hedge!!!!!

Phew, thanks again David. Whilst stripping it down to clean saw debris and to clean plug found a nasty piece of thin wire and some bail twine wrapped tight in behind the sprocket. Plug needs a real good clean too, but now the beaut is back n up n running. Yeah!

Hi Guys, my Ms150 has been a real beaut normally starting first time everytime. Today however it fired on choke then wouldn't start. The last job included using it to sned through some branches with moss and some earth being pulled up through the wood. Any one got any ideas what I need to tweak to get the beaut starting again. Any help would be very gratefully received as I need to use it Monday.

Hey Sal, in another life we surveyed over 100,000+ people over a 10 year period to establish the level of use, none use, activity, travel time etc in parks and open space across the UK and Ireland. The main reason given for non use was simply a lack of perceived time. Sad, so much so we took lack of time off the surveys to make people think a little more deeply e.g was it lack of time or the time taken to access their preferred park. Not sure if its a local study that you are completing, if so see if you track down the local PPG17 study that your local council should have undertaken as they will have asked similar survey questions and you may be able to compare your results with that. Good luck with your results.

Boaty, Sorry for the delay, my lad brought mine back from America. You can get them on Amazon for £20. http://www.amazon.co.uk/ArcOne-G-FLY-A1101-The-Safety-Goggles, make sure it's the A1101 as the others are the welding version and as such are really dark.

Been loads of times when I've been cutting, pruning etc when bit o something has gone into the eye, so now it's a rule( simply coz lose an eye its game over) get out the van to work, goggles or safety specs on. Bought these and apart from owt else buzz buzz.Arcone G-Fly-A1101 The Fly Safety Goggles, they sure do get a second look.

Keep an eye out on Aldi, they do a sports wrist support and it normally is on offer in next few weeks. They are neoprene and have hole in for thumb. I've used them for the past 3 years to reduce ache and trigger finger from use of saw, blower etc. I normally buy half a dozen pairs to see me through the year.

Fiskars x27all day everyday, razor sharp, keeps its edge and is easy as owt to sharpen.

As already stated, depends on what cutting your doing. I use a Weibeng 21"and Ariens 21" as they both cut mulch and collect. The Mulch option is brill as a time saver in the autumn when I simply blow all the leaves onto the lawn mulch through the side discharge mulching down to nothing and then collect them in the bag. Quite crucial when your customers won't pay to get rid of waste and want it to fit in a single green bin. Both mowers are also fast across the ground, they go at a fair lick. The Weibeng is also Great at picking up wet grass. Both are tough machines that take a fair beating every season. I'm currently looking at a twin rotary Torro big mower 30"+ cut and also has a side mulch discharge. Mainly because of the size of some of the garden lawns I do. I don't have a rear roller mower mainly because I'm happy with the cut and multi function of the side discharge, plus they do leave a stripe of sorts.

No one up for this then, if the ladders are putting your professional etiquette on the line then be assured ''twas mostly dropped by Silky Zorbat. Mainly coz it wasn't strong enough to climb n drop with the ms150. The rest was dropped with the Stallion pole pruner.

Hoping someone might be interested. I need this lot chipping and getting rid of for a customer. Its in the back garden about 20ft from the gate and there is good access to the front for a flatback and chipper. house is at the Woodvale end of the Formby Bypass. Can you PM me with a price if anyone can help. Many thanks Mac PS the blower is an indication of the scale, its not for getting rid of, just in case!!

Yup, I'm on it, find chainsaw carving gets a lot of re-pins.

Try a couple of Zippo hand warmers, they stay warm for hours, you can keep them in your pockets.Toasty.

Stallion or Silky? £50 difference but which is more cost effective, love my Silky but the £ 50 diff will by a new blade for the stallion... Any views other than buy cheap n buy twice... Any others on the market that are up to the job? Many thanks

Drew them out first then freehand with the router. Didn't lock the depth of the cut but gauged it as the surface was slightly uneven.
