  1. Stihl HL100K Spares - SPARES & PARTS
  2. Hi mate. We've had lots of transits and won't get another one. They rust badly once they start to go and the duratorq engines suffer with jumping timing chains and starter motors... I agree with the iveco thumbs up.....
  3. £300 sounds expensive... Round here we can hire a JCB digger and driver for £250. To break it down, probably £150 labour and chipper fuel/transport for around £50 - £75.
  4. So true, employees don't realise what goes on behind the scenes to organise work, etc. Plus mondays off after being paid the previous Friday. Do they think empoyers are stupid? you've either got a work ethic in you or you haven't.
  5. I agree. sounds like the ebay email wasn't from ebay at all.....
  6. You say that. But try to book a decent firm round here, you'll have to wait in line...
  7. Sounds fair.... TBH take it as long it seems ok. If it does go wrong in the future then it'll be a good time to learn how these machines go together...... Good Luck, hope it all goes well.....
  8. Go for Premium Bonds... You'll always have the capital and you never know you might land a big one...!
  9. Snap on if you're a professional mechanic. Otherwise facom, draper, halfords, britool. I've lots of different makes and have yet to break any despite mis-use including hitting with a hammer and the old scaffold pole breaker bar extension trick......
  10. good strimmer. we use the 410's. no problems at all....
  11. Do you do much towing? 330 sounds very low..
  12. Its a real pain when the lads do that and then hand the machine back 'it doesnt work' Like i've got a puncture? when you check the sidewalls got a hole in it... kerbed!!!
  13. A sharp hs81 r will do a great job. Best thing is get two and keep one for the finer stuff...
  14. Dewalt maxi boots. Used them for yrs, available for around 40 quid on ebay.
  15. +1 get what you pay for.... Although there will always be exceptions, mates rates, etc.
  16. It's never good to hear especially as it goes on so much but appreciate the warning to check security...!
  17. I agree. It'll end in disagreement. Buy the mower and then charge to cut the paddock. As regards the mower we had from new a westwood twin ride on. It was ok and we certainly did a lot of work with it. But eventually it fell to bits...
  18. Hi jamie. Where did you get your locking nuts from?
  19. What do you do when theiving has reached such a low level... Nothing is safe is it. Seems the order of the day everywhere. If they aren't taking parts off your car then its the wheels off your trucks.
  20. isn't it funny about coffee and how fussy we are..... BUT tea.... anywhich way you like.. strong, weak, sugar, no sugar.... don't really care.. i'll still drink it...!!!!! Can't beat T!!!
  21. I guess everyone is aware of the national shortage of fence panels... My local supplier is taking summer before 6 x 6 panels will become available.... Anyone else found this to be the case?
  22. 2 transits, both low mileage, both been the most troublesome vans we own. Doubt i would ever buy another........
  23. Hi, just a thought. i'd like to check the rev speed of our mowers and thought this might do it....? what do you think? New LCD Digital Laser Photo Tachometer Non Contact RPM Tach Meter | eBay
