  2. Stihl bg86 i think decent blower
  3. Yes i understand that part and i know what i can earl with it. however i DONT know how much its worth regardless of giving him hours or paying him on the nose. I have no idea how much it will cost to service, ill call the dealer tomorrow and get a quote.
  4. ok so sub 500, IF i did do the deal for man hours i think i would do it on a higher setting anyways its only an un used paddock, As for the mower is it a "Crap" machine ? it would be mainly domestic lawns, dont wanna buy something i have spend alot of money on before the off, How much "Roughly" would a service be for this machine up north? providing the blades are ok etc? Cheers
  5. yea only ever mulches the paddok quite high as it is wet ant not used for anything at all, Ok ill speak to him about buying it. It seemed to fit me as im just on the edge of finishing a a major house renovation that has been a major cash sucker ha. How much would you expect to pay for this machine with the 2 different decks and in need of a service? I cant find much to do with them on ebay just the t1200 / t1600 i think. Under 500 or more ? the guy isnt straped for cash he ownes alot of houses so i would think he wants every penny he can get out of it. Thanks neil
  6. T2000 a poor machine like ?
  7. A guy i work for has a westwood t2000, 2000 model i think with collection box and mulching deck I has been serviceod by a local dealer who i know, but needs a service now, He is moving house next year "Hopefully" him if he is selling the mower, Some of you might know from my last post about a trailer im on the look for a ride on. So anyways he has offered me a deal that i cut his paddok twice a month for the rest of the year and some of the summer next year hopefully not all. in exchange for the mower. the paddok takes him about 3 hours to do and it is very wet, he has has the mower stuck a few times trying to cut it in the wet. any one have one of these mowers or had can give me some tips? it fired up today after a few spins but not of the button as such i think it might need a service. Thanks AGAIN for all your help and pointers guys, btw i have not been cutting grass for him re-pointing a huge patio, pain in the *** job but its all done now.

    Trailer.

Your right the transit takes all the heavy waste but it is mainly green waste, The trailer would be handy for bulk waste but if i get one its main job will be for a ride on. Ill take a look at those mate.

    Trailer.

Hey guys i have a Ford Transit crewcab Tipper. Looking for an extra bit a bulk storage for green waste etc. I dont have a trailer ticket i past my driving test AFTER 97 so i THINK that means i can pull upto a 750kg trailer only. Correct me if im wrong anyways, I know iforwilliams and all that lot are great but i dont have £2000 for a trailer ha What does anyone here use a Paxton trailer? Paxton Heavy Duty Utility Cage Caged Ramp 8X5 Trailer | eBay looks pretty good but how longs it gonna last me is the issue, would be stored in a garage over night. Thanks !
  12. I was kinda heart set on a honda all the guys i know in my area recommend them over anything and the fact that the almost brand new one was half the price it was the deal breaker for me, Im Very Very pleased with the mower and a million times better than my old mountfield haha, It also has mulching option witch i great for me as i do a few old farm conversions with sections of field in the garden.
  13. Well guys i got a new mower and a reality check, went to a company local to me with a friend with no intention of buying anything and ended up talking to one of the guys and got on about lawn mowers. he was asking about what sort of lawns i do and most of the lawns i do ARE crap and bumpy cut a long story short the weight and size of the roller mowers are to big and heavy to load of and off my transit tipper so i was looking at a grx 476 and he had a second hand one a lady bought last year for 900 and i ended up buying it for 450 with full warranty. really happy with the price because some of the tat on ebay for that money. I would eventually like a roller mower too bud right now i dont have enuf nice lawns and no trailer. Thanks
  14. Thanks I'll see if my local supplier has them tomorrow I've been using blue line for the real thick stuff I think its 4mm you really have to push it threw the brass eyes, its horrid to use but it really gets the job done, never bothered with the mulchers, might have to take a look. Thanks
