  1. haha cheers, can't take the credit tho. After trying to source some thinner wheels and talking to a couple chaps this seemed worth a go. It cost next to nothing to do
  2. The wooden wheel is back....
  3. I wonder if it's bottle butt?
  4. It really is! How many people have one of those in the garden
  5. Not sure of the history as the owners are relatively new. Something like that sounds about right though. It looked like a giant hand coming out the ground
  6. Lawson cypress with the hb20, did take all day mind. Added hazard of a wasps nest in it and bottom half on a slope that I don't think you can see in the pic. Could have done with a bigger grinder tbh but access was poor. My bro who is in the pic is a stump eating man mountain so I kindly let him do the lions share So much timber came out of this tree, multi stems on multi stems
  7. Ground out this one couple days ago. Possible biggest one we have done to date.
  8. worst case scinario, one possible two tree surgeons that you don't know may see you leave a stub and as they fly by in their van they might as a fleeting thought go "cuh"
  9. Hu... I didn't know lawsons cypress had good properties for outside. We took down a masive one last week and passed on all the timber. If I had knower I would have kept a couple lengths. That Viking fact is amazing! Sorry for the derail
  10. You sir, are a scholer and a gentleman!
  11. That should be your tag line eggs
  12. Sorry to hear this VI, I got done about a month ago in a very similar fasion. £105 all I had in my wallet. When I realised i got conned I was kind of impressed with how well acted out it all was. Then I spent the rest of the day trying not feel like a frightened old lady. I really don't view myself as gullable or anything like that, just like you I was just trying to help someone out. It does knock your confidence in people and I felt very stupid. One of life's little lessons I guess
  13. Your too old when your dead. Anything before that as the old saying goes - anything is possible
  14. Nice tidy job Rich, always liked copper beech. That was a VERY wet day!
  15. Sorry it was a bad joke. That stuff is a pain to come off! I remember picking one apart to show my wife on a night out, mistake

  23. i think I remember reading it's good for fruit boxs as its absorbent and keeps the fruit fresher? Would be interested to see how it comes out if you used it.
  24. That is one efficient set up!
  25. The only thing we have had with our 576 was a tiny hole in the fule line that made it run funny.
