  1. Ah right, thought it was just a problem you were having from new. If you had no issues before them not sure exactly what it could be but not start issues are usually low compression problems. Could be the tank vent depending on how old the saw is ie which tank vent system it has, or an ignition issue. At last put a new plug in it and check the gap between the coil and flywheel .3mm will do and.5 mm on the spark plug. Once it's running does it have plenty of power and idle ok etc? Hope you get it sorted.
  2. Don't forget the APF show is in two weeks. Never a better time to try a good range of trousers at the cheapest price. I have tried a huge amount of different trousers out over the years when I was climbing, the most important thing for me was the comfort. The most expensive wasn't the best for me, in other words if you can't get to the apf get to your local arb supplier and try some on for size.
  3. Hot start procedure is this. Switch out and up to put the choke on then push lever down to knock choke off but leave on part throttle. Few pumps on the bulb, DO NOT push the decompressor button in, pull the saw over FAST. If im honest, the worst thing I see operators do is not pull the saw over fast enough. To start our 560 from warm I would give it one fast pull if it didn't run straight away put it on part throttle as per above. If you flood a husky it can be a bad start to the day.
  4. Interesting to see the Tsurugi mentioned as although it isnt a best selling saw for us user comments are always excellent. Most popular saw in regards to our sales ATM is the Zubat Arborist.
  5. We have fixed a few issues but are still finding new problems. If anyone has a bit of spare time please have a browse and let me know what you think about the layout/usability and general overall experience. Negative always welcome otherwise its hard to move forward and improve. Cheers Mark
  6. I just heat it up and they basically fall out when you slam it down onto the work bench. Reversal for installing them. You might not be heating the casing up enough.
  7. That doesn't sound too good! If you don't mind me asking what issues have you had with the new 572xp?
  8. As already mentioned that's how it's designed so the rope runs close to the middle of the portawrap allowing you to add or remove wraps while under load. Marks right, the Stein bollards are hard to beat.
  9. How did you get on? There are plenty of chainsaw boots available in size 5, not everyone stocks that size but they are out there and easy to order in.
  10. How did you get on? I would speak to the people who you bought it from, they will have to refund you and pay for the return shipment. It is absolutely useless with a dealer account which is why they should not be selling it.
  11. Its not your fault, its the fault of the unprofessional company selling you a product without informing you it wont work properly.
  12. I dont doubt it. I bet not one of them warns about needing access to a Husqvarna account! Chances are a goo deal of people selling that equipment wont be Husqvarna dealers, they will buying from dealers and selling the products on.
  13. From what I know they dont, ie no dealer should sell the CST to the general public. I am fairly sure it says for use by authorised dealers only. I would go back to the dealer you bought it from and ask them to provide you with the relevant software. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with their policy it is just how it is ATM. Apart from installing new firmware to a new carb or updating old firmware its not that useful IMO.
  14. R&D, slammed. ATM the percentage of battery to petrol sales is tiny but it is increasing all the time. The interesting thing is that nearly every single owner of a battery machine cant praise the product more. I know there will always be the odd issue but in general it is the future and it works quite well. Cant comment on the new MS161T as I haven't trialled it but it looks good on paper and if it does meet the improvements over the MS160T then it will be very impressive indeed. I wonder how far off the pro 50cc equivalent saw is?
  15. When you say you have had the spark plug out does that mean you have changed it? If not change that first, could be the coil if it isnt a fuel problem. The coil can get hot and break down, once cooled it works for a bit.
  16. That is a bit of a blow then. Ive just had a look and it look likes the pump is also fitted to the 260,280,351,370 and 420 so there may be a chance you can source a second hand one.
  17. Just so you have an idea about price they are just over £10 for a new recoil spring. Part number is 503 85 99-01 (part number 5 in attached pdf) if you want to order it from your local dealer. I have attached a pdf just in case you need any other parts. You can sometimes rework the spring to make an end but you need to get it fairly correct if you want it to locate into spindle properly without slipping. Just so your aware the price of a complete starter casing with all the bits is the best part of £60 (part number 11)so its worth finding out what the issue is with your one. 18. They are expensive, £50 inc the dreaded. Are you sure its completely knackered? Oil pumps in general usually dont break, its the parts around them that fail, worm drives in particular. (experienced based on other brands as never had to replace pump parts on an echo except worm drive on cs2511) Unfortunately they only list the pump as a complete unit, they dont sell individual components within the pump.
  19. Production doesn't seem to be able to keep up with demand. They nearly always have backorders. I think we might be getting sime in next week, after that I think they said August/September.
  20. ? Ive seen it more than once. Even had a customer ask if he can buy them as he lost them while changing a chain!
  21. Strange, maybe a bad batch of clutch drums as I have never seen that issue I don't know the exact cause. The drive train is the same as the 562xp, 550xp, 545 and 555. Unless there is an issue with the bar mounting causing the bar to run at an angle pushing the chain/rim into the clutch drum. I hope no one has left the white transport washers in place!
  22. Dont know anything about it. As far as I know nothing has been changed lately in regards to drive, bar and chain. Although there is a new x force bar on the way I dont think this is the issue you lads are having. Not read or digested all the thread but what it the issue people are having? Saws cutting to one side are only caused by (99.99% of the time) by a bad chain.
  23. This should do. https://www.skylandequipment.com/husqvarna-rim-sprocket-325-7-pin-tooth-501-45-74-02.html BTW ignore Steves poor effort, that is a blag part
  24. A year since last posting and nearly 18 months since the start of the thread! Thankfully our new site should be with us within the next couple of weeks, hopefully.
  25. HI Sorry, we havent been very active on Arbtalk of late. Although I presume you have already sourced a 390 it will be a week or so before we reorder any further echo machines.
