  1. You guys go steady running those power guzzling pro coffee machines! Think of the environment!! Do we grow coffee beans in UK or import it via huge oil burning ships? I heard a rumour that coffee is grown in areas that used to be primary jungle? Surely not??? Oh and coffee is roasted using carbon neutral biofuel?? My firkin arse it is!! Commando.....Stow........soapbox!! Ha ha
  2. Kin ell! I thought it was a thread about coffee not an environmental rant! Sorry I obviously need to be more specific, the pods mean no coffee waste; however in using them, you will be contributing to the demise of planet earth. Sent from my environmentally friendly solar powered iphone! 😏
  3. Yes, really good coffee, lots of different options depending on how u like yr coffee, and now available in supermarkets
  4. Nespresso all the way. Fresh every time. Not the cheapest but no waste.

  10. I have a Nilfisk Neptune 4. Seems to do the job well. Was advised to run it on Kero not diesel, cleaner burn. Deffo top tip about not letting them freeze!

  12. Have a look at the Wallenstein road towable stuff. Well made, powerful and tows well.
  13. What do you recommend, winter tyre wise? I'm thinking of sticking some on my Hilux, hopefully would help with the wobbly back end, not nice in the Icy stuff!
  14. 1000 litres 43.66/l +vat. Happy days!!
  15. Ha Ha:thumbup1:
  16. The only way we are going to crack down on these scum is to: a. Stop buying kit off em. b. Report them/vehicle details to the police. c. Secure our kit!! I know its a pain but the rural coppers are on side. This bloke is blatantly driving about in broad daylight, not even swapped his plates! Unbelievable. Cdo
  17. Gents, Be aware- Chap with Irish accent pulled up outside yard today (Bratton Clovelly/Germansweek area) and asked the Mrs if she/farmer wanted to buy Generators/Pressure washer etc. Mrs thinned him out proper, phoned the police and gave VRN/Vehicle details: Silver Blue Vauxhall Estate DY62 WPL Supposedly the vehicle/driver are wanted by Dorset Police! Keep your kit locked up and your eyes peeled!!!! Cdo
  18. Agree completely with you Andrew, I'm just about to put one back in that I sold with house sale. Brought it back off the new owners for £200! Bargain!!
  19. Well said Kev, more drivel from the ill informed!! Cdo
  20. Drill holes in the corners of a pallet and insert road pins to hold the bag, simple, cheap and effective. Option b just bang em into the ground.
  21. Whats the microwave and scales trick all about pse?
  22. Bit off track but is chipping/remapping really worth it? I have a 2013 3L Hilux Double Cab and struggle to get 26mpg on a run sat at 75mph. 33mpg would be nice!
  23. I beg to differ on the not using atv's on serious slopes. I worked on a hill farm on exmoor for 4 years and it would surprise most people exactly where you can get a quad bike if you know what your doing and with good enough tyres. A decent quad will go literally anywhere!! You are absolutely right about where you can get an ATV 'if you know what you are doing', however if you are towing anything weighty ie a laden trailer, topper etc on serious slopes then they are a dangerous bit of kit. Plenty of people killed and injured on them every year, with or without towing. (and many of them thought they 'knew what they were doing').
  24. Tragic! No words come close to describe what you must be going through. Thoughts with you and your family. Cdo Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
