I always chuckle at the mass of pantaloon and sandal wearing students at Heathrow, with their “save the planet” t-shirts, off to work at an elephant hospital in Thailand for their gap year! Oh the irony as they board the A380, carrying 80,000 gallons of jet fuel![emoji849]
  2. You’ll pick up a 3.2L SWB shogun for £5k. I have the 4work version on a 56 plate, nice truck.
  3. About the same as a new shape Hilux then! Not so bad for such a big lump[emoji106]

  6. Yep Alycidon you’re right, I’m getting confused with boiler stoves. When I brought our Dunsley Yorkshire boiler stove, going wood only was a significant saving[emoji106]
  7. If you don’t need a multi-fuel go wood only... the vat rate is only 5%[emoji106]
  8. I think Asulox is only licensed late in summer and u have to use it all up under conditions of licence. I had great success waiting for the bracken to get to full frond and spray off with Glyphosate through ATV boomless sprayer. Then spot spray as required.

  11. Yep stuck in Saudi, all flights suspended. Can’t see anything changing before end of Apr[emoji57]
  12. Jethro is hanging up the mic this year. Giving up the stand up![emoji57]
  13. Congratulations to you both Steve....Cracker[emoji106]
  14. Not sure how they intend to police this? It’s not gonna stop the burning of waste wood, nappies etc
  15. Wood burners: Most polluting fuels to be banned in the home - BBC News WWW.BBC.CO.UK Owners of wood burners and open fires will be discouraged from burning coal or wet wood from next year.
  16. Complete waste of a life....the pressures of falling from grace I guess. Very sad
  17. My power pruner has developed a fault. It will run normally for about a minute then die. I noticed a couple of pin holes in the primer bulb so replaced that but no fix. It will start again once I prime the bulb again. Have changed fuel (Aspen) and checked fuel pipe and filter looks clean. Any advice appreciated. Thx Craig
  18. I’m sure there are much bigger factors that grouse moor management J.... The government continue to allow building within flood plains ffs, and as already said huge developments with associated run-off. But hey, let’s stop grouse shooting, re-introduce beavers and not dredge watercourses.....that will fix the issue![emoji849]
