  1. Not sure want you mean there Mate? Thx C
  2. That’s what they recommended [emoji106]
  3. Thx Sawchip, machine ordered from Radmore & Tucker’s. PDI today and pick up on Mon. I have always used the Oregon 2 tooth Mulching blade, chap at R&T said they don’t recommend as they trash the gear drive!
  4. Hi Sawchip, any experience of the 43cc Makita MM4 brushcutter? Wondering if it’s up to brambles and rushes? Thx Craig
  5. Yeah that’s one of my concerns, 1.2m cut from a 300cc B&S powerpack... not sure that’s gonna cope with brambles and rushes too well.....
  6. Any thoughts on ATV front mounted flails? Thx Craig
  7. Surely it’s the landlords responsibility to ensure that the stove is in good safe working order and (along with the flue I’m guessing) has a HETAS certificate. Also a CO alarm in the same room.
  8. RIP Royal. Sad news indeed.
  9. Nice one, just ordered a pair of 6ah beauties at just short of £54[emoji106]
  10. Following on from Eddie’s earlier comments, anyone else had any experience using the Postsaver sleeves option on fence posts. Thx Craig
  11. Anyone using the Waitley 18v Makita copy batteries? Have read differing reviews. Thx C
  12. Is removing the baffle tube recommended on 390 too? Does the carb need tweaking after? Thx
  13. Any thoughts on the 4 stroke stuff, not Stihl 4 mix, tempted by the Makita but can’t find any serious reviews. Thx
  14. Looking to replace my Husky 343r. Need something to primarily run a Oregon mulching blade. Anyone use the Makita 4 Stoke machine and wonder if it would have similar power? Thx Craig
  15. Well they are whole although obviously split to remove. Also they stretch as the tree grows. Where are you based?
  16. Unfortunately not, all stretched and split, should have been removed years ago. These ain’t the spiral tree guards, these are the corrugated plastic green ones. It makes me mad, the trees were planted under EWGS so I guess with a view to improving the planet yet recycling centres won’t take the guards. Surely the guards used in these schemes should be required to be eco-friendly and easily recycled? The recycling centre manager said he could take a few but not 200+. TBH that made me madder! He suggested I take them to commercial tip and weigh them in for landfill, 20 miles each way ffs.
  17. Any advice on disposal of tree guards. I tried the council recycling centre....”More than my jobs worth that....that’s commercial waste that is” About 250 plastic guards in total. Clearly don’t wanna burn/bury! Thx Craig
  18. Agree, trousers over chaps any day. The Oregon Yukon ones (Screwfix £60) are great value and fine for occasional use IMHO.
  19. Wondering if anyone has used one of the front mounted ATV flails? I'm looking for something to clear some small woodland rides and paths of brambles. Significantly cheaper than a Grillo ride-on or similar Rammy Oy - RAMMY Snowblower 120 ATV & RAMMY Flail mower 120 ATV RAMMY.FI Rammy snowblower 120 ATV and Flail mower 120 ATV are compact and easily manoeuvrable for ATV use. take... Thx Craig
  20. I don't work on sites beyond audits and ERP drills, but it makes me sweat seeing the poor buggers grafting!
  21. Easy life! Try 50’C + on the rig floor in Saudi [emoji295]️ ?
  22. Not sure if the fuel stabiliser is available in larger quantities or cheaper than Amazon?
