  1. I have sent a message on arbtrader. Could you contact me please. That should read 2001 crew cab tipper, not 2011.
  2. We call them 'granny logs'. Currently I don't charge any extra, but I will do soon. They take longer to process, there is more waste and there are less air gaps meaning they get more logs for their money. Basically they are a bloody pita!!
  3. I might be able to help out. I will pm you tomoz Mikey.
  4. No word of a lie, my mrs went to school with 2 lads (amongst others), 1 called Andrew Ness and the other Peter Ness, i.e. A Ness & P Ness!!
  5. I have put string/rope around both so can be used 1 handed. Not ideal but works.
  6. Domestic and utility pays about the same ime so I figure just charge the same. If it was a little tricky then I'm sure i'd add a bit.
  7. I would not charge any extra for tree work next to live power lines, though it may take a little longer to do.
  8. From what you have said it sounds like the stump is relatively small. Is it not worth just grinding the stump for free, getting paid and seeing the back of the job. I understand it may be a matter of principle now but is it worth it?
  9. I heard of a repeat offender doing 15 yrs!!!
  10. That looks like an enjoyable job. I don't think you can beat a job like that on a dry sunny day.
  11. Do you need to keep them sharp, I always thought that splitting axes were meant to be blunt. It did surprise me when I received my Fiskars that it was pretty sharp.
  12. If you want a Helko I should get one now as I understand that the company has gone bust. I do believe someone is trying to recover the company. I have a Helko Vario 2000 and a Fiskars X27 and prefer the Fiskars.
  13. What sort of price is the wp30 Drayton? Just googled it, nice looking piece of kit. What do you think of it?
  14. £170, that's a very good price, not that I would get one. But for someone just starting out where every penny counts!
  15. Still looking. Contract has now started so immediate start possible. Full time positions available.
  16. Sorry to hear of your loss jon. Was it you I bought a 7.5 ton mitsi canter from about 6 years ago?
  17. Flipping heck munch, nice motor!!
  18. Are you sure?? That does sound very low.
  19. That does sound like excessive use of the brake Shane, but if that suits you then who is to argue.
  20. Margaret Thatcher came to office, Man Utd won fa cup and Oz won ashes, a sign of things to come perhaps! Although now we're all over the ozzies at cricket:thumbup:
  21. I like the extra ear protection that you get from muffs i.e. from scratches etc. Also nice in the cold. I do not like the thought of something stuffed in my ear day after day. Horses for courses I guess.
  22. Shame I am not closer, you will not have a problem getting shot of that.
