If the agreement that they would pay on a credit card was not made clear as they confirmed their quote / you completed the work, then simply state that card payments will be plus the percentage. After all it is not your problem how they wish to pay for something? -

You could go bankrupt but your unlikely to get finance with a company which has less than 3 years accounts in its own name, therefore you would have to add yourself to the agreement which would then mean they would have recourse back to you if you pulled the plug. If you did that, and got away with it through not paying it back, it would effect your credit score and ability to get finance or loans in the future. In short, you did the best thing, both legally, morally and financially

Mark have you tried or ever used George at Duce Stump Grinding? DUCE Stump Grinding Services | Tree Stump Grinding and Stump Grinder Hire Use them for all my bigger stump work rather than doing it myself with a hired machine. Not sure if he goes that far but might be worth a call?

I'd have the pink just because it supports cancer awareness - just think of the talking point too, everyone will ask about it. Think id be inclined to put a sign and arrow on the back of the truck pointing the chipper to explain the colour though!

Everyone has their own circumstances and reasons to be on benefits, some have disabilities, others have suffered loss of a love one who was the main bread winner. For me personally I don't believe we should judge the person but the system which allowed them to claim benefits, especially if they do not have any formal right to them. Personally I would hate to be on them, I know people who are and they find it degrading to have to live on money which comes into them on a specific date, much of which is going straight back out for housing or clothing or food on table. Many of them would prefer to be working out there in the community but the jobs are not there or over subscribed. Above all else, if anyone here fell on bad times and they could not work then at least there is a fall back, albeit if some seemingly abuse the system.

I'd shop around more if I were you, there was a severe local shortage when all the gales were around but not any more and everyone around here has massive stock once more.

Dean, isn't it also a requirement that the discharge chute does not rotate the full 360 degrees so as to protect the user feeding the machine?

love the throttle position, just where it will get knocked down in revs every time you get a brashy oddity enter the hopper. CE, i doubt it

Plus a good paint brush will push out stuck in dust and grime. Plastics i tend to soak in Fairy washing up liquid and then blast with the air line and that shifts yet more dirt. Have used petrol, brush cleaner, Cif (Jif as many would know it used to be called ) and wd40 on some parts in the past to shift ground in dirt but always rinsed and blow gun dried.

I quite agree for small items of 10 minutes or so. Any larger 'Could you just' jobs, I usually say not today we can't no but I will happily quote you for it for another day - they usually have no issue with this and I always have it in writing that way.

I picked up my dads spade when i was a boy and he said since ya holding it ya might as well dig with it... I dug... a lot. When I was older, and considered responsible, I picked up my dads chainsaw, needless to say he said since ya holding it ya might as well use it ... i logged up... a lot. Now I'm the one working and he's retired I bring home lots of wood from jobs and unload it, whilst unloading the other day he said since ya holding it ya might as well process it... somethings never change........

Hey Rob Designed in my head and built on site from stock timber by me, simple design really. I have built two and 5 bay versions and smaller one metre cubed sized ones for gardens. Cheers, James

Built these for a client some years back now, all built out of 4x4 posts and 6x2" nailed on. Built in a day, lasts for years. Hope these pics work!

Thank you for your honest appraisal Big J They are short due to the only way to exit the back garden with them was on a sack barrow and boy are they heavy. Seemed a shame to commit them to the fire wood pile. Will try a few local wood turners, if anyone here still wants them pm me an offer.
