  1. its the CIA's robots which can rack up viewings from the other side of the pond, nothing to be concerned about as they scan everyone's periodically. Either that or them there Americans are trying to learn from the best of the best!
  2. Should have put a sign on it saying £10, you probably would still shift it.
  3. Nice video there David, ive just subscribed to you also Jay - yes have always found Coppards good for knowledge. We also use CW plant for MEWPS if our local hire shops machine isnt suitable. Do love a good bit of machinery to make things easier
  4. Just from a google search I have found: https://www.coppard.co.uk/crane_hire.php Mobile Crane Hire - Savage Cranes Ltd http://www.savagecranes.com/pdf/Maeda-405.Mini-Crane.pdf
  5. To answer the OP's question in the title of this thread... When your wood chip pile is in a field and gets too wet for the transit to access... like this evening. Luckily my brother has a landy to pull out the tranny!
  6. Great to see it in cross section like that, well done and thankyou
  7. Plus one (prospectively) for the Berlingo / Partner - just about to buy a second hand new shape one. Had an 06 plate berlingo before and that was great in every respect.
  8. Ah right, our open fire is in the sitting rooms so the heat goes up the stairs from there too, with cooking in the oven that keeps it toasty
  9. We have the same thing in our house. We just open all the internal doors and the house warms up?
  10. Landline number which does NOT go to my mobile. Some of the elder clients prefer to ring a landline in the evening or during the day and leave a message. In the world we live in today I receive calls, texts, whatsapps, facebook messages and even a skype call from clients to my mobile. Its all good til you want to reference back to something and need to remember what they sent it to you on!
  11. Mimosa pigra. I think
  12. Bigger the company the worse they are at paying, seems to ring true here too.
  13. I said as soon as we got our new one, through replacement on insurance, that it was gutless in comparison to our original bg86. I'm glad it wasn't just me now! I had noticed that without the squashed nozzle that it would blow more volume but less accuracy and force. We soon surmised that it was the exhaust suppressing the machine so would be interested in finding out the part number for a different option? Thanks, James
  14. I have the Oregon unit which I tend to use on chains which have been dinged on something. For every day sharpening i still prefer a file as the bench sharpener takes off excessive metal where a file works best for just dressing the chain back to sharp. I made a video and posted it here: http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/video-forum/68389-oregon-mini-bench-chain-grinder.html
  15. Impressive... only in Japan! Surprised they don't get gunged if they win!
  16. Yep, looking for to working with Tom's Omme in the near future
  17. Nice work, looks a great machine. Another company to add to my list of MEWP's
  18.
  19. I got this book last Christmas i think it was and at the time found it cheapest on FRJones website, with great service as always too!
  20. Try Ian Bridges - 07966 114191 - he arranged the finance for my chipper and then the truck too.
  21. Oh yeah that was it, Countax! Sorry. Well done Barry
  22. Hi Al Have you tried any Mountfield dealers as it would appear Oleo Mac is a brand of theirs or they have bought it. Much like i found out that Echo is Mountfield now too when I sourced a part for my cs8000 recently!
  23. Not in a position to join you on this occasion Tom but would be interested to hear if its a profitable exercise or worth doing? Currently our conifer wood goes to a tenant of the farmhouse we dump at but if it works out to do this every 2 years then i dont mind stock piling it up somewhere? James
  24. Thanks, and yes I agree and would do it all over again tomorrow, apart from I would apply the additional knowledge I have learnt along the way earlier on. I never want to work for someone else again, that said I had my first company aged 23 and never looked back.
