  5. do you have your new 4 wheeled baby helping you in the dessert like conditions up there? Steve
  6. Hi Guys! Used to have alloy bodied trucks for horse transportation. Had to disinfect between loads & countries, Virkon eats alloy! If you must use it, make sure you get it off..... Speak to the owners of alloy wheeled vehicles entering farms with barrier disinfectant at entrance and I'm sure they will tell you same stories on 5k wheels. Defra will post what is best, they do not care about these other issues. Virkon is great at its job, but the side effect is very expensive. Steve
  7. Try Albert Muff's in Silsden, 01535 655230.... They used to big into this kind of stuff and railway ties/sleepers (though not lived around there for a few years, I see they are still on the go). Steve
  8. Hi there! for example.... 038 AV 62cc 038 AVS (super) 67cc 038 AV magnum 72cc A similiar story throughout models that emcompass av avs & magnum range. Steve
  9. It will reach about 50' with a 6.7m outreach. the bucket is also hydraulic with rotate and tilt (which you do need to make sure your kit is secure!) There is a flow & return on bucket for hydraulic power tools. The boom is secured by a quick release pin, just pull it out and slide it out and stow in bucket......can get a little crowded in there!
  10. :001_smile:I need to stop taking my soup kitchen trailer out on jobs!!!! especially if its ones I undercut on:thumbup:
  11. Point taken, quite right there is always the downside.... 3 weeks ago a client had been given a price by another company of similiar cost to do a take down and another small prune and with a time scale of 2.5/3 days. I got the work and did it in less than 2 days. Then debate started on time/cost price using my efficiency against the price when it came to pay. It was resolved when I ask if the job had taken 4 days, would he have been paying double! Steve
  12. Hi Andy Sounds very familiar!!!!! This is the bonus of investment, which does pay with a shorter day, moving on quickly to next task. The client wants you in, out, gone! Please don't think by spreading it out you can justify the fee. Your expertise and work is what they want. They will see the value, whilst they marvel at the speed & efficiency. Steve
  13. Hi Chris, was going to comment last night that you and I buy our calculators from the same store.... But thought Northern Arb may read and charge me more for blade grinding! .... looks like your supplier also reads this!!!! Steve
  14. Are slippers required for this to work????
  15. Does'nt she want a photo as well!!!!!
  16. especially if its dead with no drop zone! We have some largish chunks on it this week and they is no movement. Steve
  17. Yes, ex NEDL. got it in Feb, then spent a couple of months on sorting... winches, bare metal respray.
  18. Nope...white only! the only concession it has is no MOT.... if you register has a crane (then red ok) but no trailer towing. If you register it as a HGV/tower crane, then white, but can tow a trailer.(connected with crane use... not open/flat etc). It Its registered as a HGV/goods the O licence required.
  19. Hi John, you know what they say about a plan....'its just another thing to go wrong!' touching every piece of wood I take off for good luck and lots of customers. take care.
  20. Yes, if you exceed 500kgs or approaching, depending on angle thats it.... normaly limit it to 250kgs..... another 6 monthly as well.
  21. Day one, week one and mog is booked up!
  22. Instantaneous decomposition of the substance! or if you don't want to be picking the bits after Little John, use my mog mewp to put a line in and then the Ramsey 20k to pull it. Steve
  23. Hi Dean, didn't realise it was you there! I would offer free demo's, but the amount of stuff that goes through it, I don't have enough for anything but a very short one. Will get some nice shots of it on the Unimog mewp this week for your 'oldies, but goldies wall'. Steve
