  4. Hi Chris, My old lady...... Bandit 150xp 12" with crusher & winch 125 perkins turbo..... long in tooth, but young at heart! Not certain you would get out in 4 attempts though. Do tow it with Landy no problem, but it is destined for mog. Steve

  8. Hi John, I got my mewp to tow my chipper as my second vehicle. As such it is on nearly every job along side the landy & chip trailer. I never looked it has a 'stand alone' and my pricing structure has not changed per job, just sometimes I get finished quicker and as said it tows the chipper. I will do work that is offered by others, but this wasn't a thought on the purchase. My insurance is for solely for my own business, not certain where the premuims would run on hiring (with or without operator) I suppose it would depend on how the work is done/taken on. If I wanted to extend my services outside 'tree work' I know it would need a 'insurance re-think" Steve

  14. The course that is been muted is a 3 day one..... but I will put it to Greg. I understand the ideal numbers based on 3 instructors is 12.... we are 2 here. The location could be wherever it works best.We can travel or I'm sure I could make arrangements here. Steve

  16. Went to the accountant this morning. At 59 pounds an hour, not quite certain which is the worse, fine or fees and I understand he's cheap! Also what got me, he was clean, dry, and didn't smell of 2 stroke.... Thats nearly 15 breakfast an hour, where did I go wrong! Steve
  17. Hi guys, will see the machine later this week again, will get some photo's. To be able to get a 24m (22m from edge of truck) and then pick-up 900kgs off a soggy surface at a affordable price is rare! I for one, will be thinking that at this hourly charge where is the reason for me the entertain the thought of buying..... Steve

  22. Met a chap today with a Scammel 6x6 with 24m 45ton Fassi mid mounted. 900ks @ 24m... 7.5 up close. 45 p/hr Based in Matlock, but will travel ..... At those prices its hard to beat! Steve
