  1. Hi Jon, Very wet here, raining most of the day & the weeks weather looks grim, but theres not been much rain over winter so far N
  2. Of which I prefer the 260 N
  3. Hi. people seem to like certain brands Dosnt matter so long as it does the job, trouble is manufacturers needlessly 'improve' their saws & in doing sometimes inject defects which they wash their hands of when people get their fingers burnt. But same thing goes on in all sorts of industries, car manufacturing for example N
  4. Hi again, Just to add that if its a 12 V (nominal) lead acid battery & the voltage drops below 10.5 volts its unlikely it will hold a decent charge. Unfortunaetly the affect is irreversible. Perhaps replace / exchange if its still under warranty if only 6 months old? N
  5. You may have an earth draining the battery or its knackered then N
  6. Hi You may have an earth on your wiring or if the battery is dirty tracking down the side of the battery, although if its stood for a while it will have self discharged via internal resistance. Or it could also be the alarm draining the battery if that was on. If you leave your vehicle for a long time you could try a CTek charger as they will keep it topped up & you dont have to remove a cable to charge. N
  7. Hi Nice work & excellent team work, well done N
  8. Thanks, Happy new year also & wish everyone a successful 2016 N

    Dolmar

Hi all, Im not one for New Year Resolutions, either get forgotten in a torrent of booze or just plain daft, but one for 2016 is to get a Dolmar as they are just so good. There is a stand at a local supplier & its near torture to walk past them... (sad barsteward I know) and with that, the best wishes for 2016 when it arrives N
  10. Hi Jon, Happy New Year when it happens to you & Sonia and all on Arbtalk N
  11. We have a convienient church clock, the bell even goes twice at lunchtime, once on the hour then again 5 minutes later to remind people. N
  12. Theres an app for that !
  13. Will try and arrange some sunshine then! May have a Dolmar 420, getting fed up with MS250 & Dolly looks like a much better saw. N
  14. You & Sonia comming over to France next year then? (2106) N
  15. OK Jon, Ill swap you some of my home made wine Stihl isnt what they used to be tho N
  16. Yes, Shavey is the man for Dolmar N
  17. Good luck with that then... I sometimes wonder if some of these manufacturers have heard of the internet, along with various forums heaving with mal content about their not as reliable as they used to be products. Cant say Stihl is on my wish list unless Jon got fed up with his 660, Ive heard he loves ot help people out... N
  18. I refer to it as facef**k, it has its place. N
  19. +1 Agree entirely, looters should be shot. N
  20. Hi I think it would be much better if all new year resolutions started from the 2nd of January N
  21. Hi, Agreed, a friend asked me to 'take a look at my saw as the chain would not go round the blade...' It was misaligned by not locating with tensioner & the bar at a pronouced angle, so I explained how to get it all fitting correctly. Does sound like a similar incidence to me N
  22. Yes, good forum Jon some good banter here Many thanks Steve N
  23. Hi The best printer Ive ever used & maintained is the legendary HP LaserJet 5N - Ive seen several with well over 1,000,000 pages through them but theyre a bit long in the tooth now. I recently bought a Dell network laser with a duplex unit, cant recall the model but its similar to a LaserJet. If you want to go paperless then get some software like Fine Print PDF Factory - a very good piece of software so you print your invoices to PDF & mail them out. N
  24. Hi I got a 20" Pro lite for my 365 which I believe has the same mount as 372, cuts very well with that. GROUP 4 Husqvarna chainsaws | Product Categories | Sugihara Guide Bars N
  25. Hi I would consider Aspen then. N
