  2. Yea ok . You took longer friging about with a Silky though ....
  3. Interested to know what it was you drilled in the carb to make it so good ? We have a 201 and even after drilling the exhaust its not as good as our 540 . We also have a 200 that is as good as a 200 has always been so not a problem . Not quite as grunty as the 540 . The 201 is still pants compared to the other 2 saws .....
  4. This answer has some insight . I made the mistake of always working for someone else . Grateful for the work but just treading water . You godda go for it my man ! Chase the work as others have said . You only have yourself and your prick to keep so skimp were it does not matter . Graft hard and fare . Be honest and you will go far .
  5. Well I could be wrong but I think opposite with one on its own on the tip .
  6. Leaves are wrong . Would be parallel opposites on a longish stem . Lighter shade of green . Thorns are similar though .

    Spring Treework

Nice one Reg . Confidence in abundance with the small glass house to your left ! Some of the camera positioning was very inventive .
  8. Be interested to know how pronounced the difference is . I have a spud ported pre x torque 372 and wonder how it would compare .
  9. Josh if it was the correct spring for that saw one screw should be captivated in the spring .
  10. Actually what you have done might be a " fix " to stop it bending ! I did this to mine .....
  11. The bolt as I remember is already in the spring , the smaller head goes through the spring surely . I have done 3 of these and not had a problem . You might have it the wrong way round perhaps ?
  12. You need to put a torxe head through the spring to attach it to the orange bit then use the other screw to attach to the grey bit .
  13. Really surprised no one has done the old " man up " bit get on with it and all that kinda stuff ....
  14. Don't know about a price but think he is on amphetamine Seriously though a bit of show boating for the camera but a very competent skilful guy . Actually he made the same number of cuts anyone else would have to do just a lot of dashing about ......
