  5. As Troll says its not " half choke " Its half throttle . Mine hot starts with just one pump of primer bulb . Everything else left alone .
  6. Probably keep you in fire wood for ever as I understand it does not burn very well . I know the bark saves them in a forest fire .....

  9. I have the one in your " these are better " link and I think the advertized one looks a more refined version . The spikes grip more around the log and are independent of each other to me that's an improvement .

    Up to a point . All depends on how much torque is available . I think you can " lean " on it if it digs in and does not slow down appreciably but if it starts to bog then you are over doing it .

    Interesting to note that from the cut times , what ever the saw , under load its not as quick . Perhaps I shouldn't lean on those dawgs so heavy ?
  18. Don't use a Stihl strimmer but I like the Oregon Jet fit head ( with no guard ) . Use 3mm square " Diamond Edge " on just grass 4mm square on dogs , nettles fine bramble then a mulching blade for anything worse .
