  1. Almost looks like a Terry Gillium cartoon . Superb .
  2. As above . 10 series highly thought of , very popular .
  3. In the photo WYK has posted it shows a 560 outer dawg against a 562 side cover . As you can see it wont fit . You need a the right dawg/cover combination ...
  4. Holes already there with captivating nut recess .....
  5. I think there are a few people on here whos " reviews " go a bit beyond that one ! I am still pleased with mine generally but others are ,shall we say ,dissapointed Skyhuck for one . Read the running threads .....
  6. Military winch perhaps ?
  7. Jon me old mucker . You could earn a few quid as an after dinner speaker may be ....
  8. cant help with a service but sounds like low compression to me . That is typical of low comp . Why not send it to spud ?
  9. I think it all depends on the type . Ordinary " lay up " is not so good but " pre preg " is stronger . Look at the pile ups in formula one ........
  10. Which don't clean as well as the Cooper tyre ?
  11. That sounds like good news to me Hedge . Happy for you guys ...
  12. Been wearing the Husqvarna one all day to day . 7,30am till 6.00pm . Glad to get it off but its about the best one I have tried . Had this one for a number of years and it hard plastic " rub plate " and tends to ware a flat and eventually a hole in the brush cutter shaft . The newer ones have a softer plate but other than that are identical .
  13. Is he not splitting one whilst sitting on the seat in the picture ?
  14. I did not realize the phone itself made a difference . I thought it was just down to the signal strength , if any , in any particular area . For what its worth I have just " upgraded " from a Nokia Lumina to a Motorolla G I think its called . I am with Orange/EE but never had a signal problem except right out in the sticks were nobody had a signal no matter what phone or network ...
  15. Just sharpen up and ignore it bud . You wont notice it ...
  16. Great news . Hong Kong next
  17. And its not just the heat loss converting that water to steam its the gumming up of the flue as well ....
  18. Got Cooper AT on my pickup and been very pleased with them in terms of lasting well . Not as good as a Mud tyre on the gooey stuff but if you only do occasional off road the trade off is worth it .
  19. Solid electric guitar bodies . Fender Telecaster / Stratocaster etc etc ...
  20. I have started using the Sugihara gloves that Rob D sells . No saw protection but good palms and fingers and breathable on the backs .
  21. I think the thing is that you only ever bring one out when you have a particularly gnarly knotty stubborn ugly lump to split so they are hallways up against it . If your not built like Geoff Capes ( age ! ) it is going to take huge amounts of effort / I have a few and some of the helical wedges mentioned above . If it was easy you would use your axe . Thankfully those days are gone as I have two mechanical splitters now .
  22. They work but only if you put in the effort pounding them in . They are not magic .
  23. Or are they refereeing to the chain as a blade ? Equally irritating ..
  24. Not quite enough to be totally reliable ( in terms of not stalling ) I would say . I have one that is powered by a 13hp Honda GX390 driven by a duplex chain . Its fast on strait grained stuff but it can stall on knotty gnarly old elm or similar . When I have used one on a big tractor with 35hp upwards it just chews through stuff that would stall on mine . The more grunt you have the better I think ...Pic of mine ...
  25. Plastic plastic and plastic .....yuk .
