  1. Blanked off the EGR valve on mine and removed the internals of the DPF . Returns more to the gallon if you deliberately go light on the right but also spins up quicker if you go heavy on the right !
  2. Can you do me a pint of logs please Rubin ....

    Whoops

That is what I thought . They have just pulled it out of the way to clear the track .
  4. Ok . I was in on this one from the start . At the risque of being a boring old repetitive fart here I am again !
  5. Hats off to you bud ! Hope it stays that way . Had mine since it was first available and here we are today . Its a great saw when everything is in place but sadly not robust enough
  6. Ok . Sounds like your right with the stuck ring . From what you say damage sounds minimal and could be salvaged with care . ON / Off switch seems wrong , maybe a wire off . Being ON all the time is not a problem in its self but having to choke an A/T saw to kill it may lead to problems .
  7. Yea ON all the time . so no worries there . If filter was chocka with crap A/T probably needs re setting as per book . Maybe worth getting it plugged in to PC at dealers and having it reset to de fault setting and go from there .....
  8. TDC might know .....
  9. I have imported saws in the past . Tried and tested saws like 372 385 etc but I certainly would not import a T540 as it WILL break ......
  10. I don't know to be honest . its in the shop now . Thing is it will happen again with out a design change . My mate was up aloft cutting . he pulled the saw up to cut again and it was like that . Nothing hit it . just the force of letting it drop on a standard length tool strop .
  11. I did not want them to be . I am a huskey man mostly but they missed a trick here . Saw cuts fast with plenty of torque , way better than the early 201 saws but it the interest of shaving a gram here and shaving a gram there they have made it too fragile . Check all the other threads on it .
  12. Wall to wall sunshine Jon . 27degrees
  13. Yep had it done on my R/H 30 odd years ago . Throttle and brake hand problems . Worked fine and no problems since
  14. Bloke at the yard where my daughter keeps her pony has a dumper truck with a pair of mole grips for a steering wheel .....
  15. 4.00mm square in the picture . Had mine over 10 years now . Forget about replacing the plastic cone when it flies off . I bought about 6 or 7 when I gave up . I just use the 4 way head ( because it has a deeper recess for the nut ) but only use 2 lines in the lower fitting .
  16. If you are talking about the Oregon Jet fit it will easily take 4.00mm , as in my picture . If you aren't sorry
  17. What a total pisser ! Bloody people .
  18. In have to . No one else will do it !
  19. Unless you are going to put it in a glass case and put it on the mantle piece don't bother ,
  20. Second that . Just went 372 for the weight ....
  21. Older , non Xtorque Husky 372 and get it ported by spud .....
  22. Does he make the Techlite bars for Huisqvarna ?
  23. Pair of pliers , grab the short tail pull it out . Insert a new length in the same direction you pulled the old one out . If you have pre cut some lengths it takes but seconds but with that size line and if you keep it in vegetation you may only do it 3 times a day ....
