  12. Ah ! I understand now . The planning department won't let you build because they consider the proposed bungalow to be too close to the tree , and should you move at a later date any new occupants might apply to remove the tree . Surely any new occupants would just be refused permission to remove as it has a TPO ?
  13. I don't own a 260 or 261 but there seems to be endless threads relating to this clutch area problem on these saws . If you do a search on here you will find them .

  20. Yea mine is the earlier harness with the hard plastic hip/thigh pad . This wears through the shaft much more than the newer harness which has a soft pad .

  24. Budget is key . E.G. Carbon , aluminum , steel etc ........
  25. I had the 345RX and the only difference I can tell; is that the older machine had slightly less vibes than the newer ones . Both the strimmers Have been faultless and have been used so much that there is a hole worn in the shaft where it rubs on the thigh pad of the harness .
