    Jays

Seen a few Jays around this year . Also black Kites are almost catching up with the Buzzards but what I have not heard or seen for 3 years now is a cuckoo ...
  2. I did . Not too pretty but I drilled and tapped ( with small BA screws , thats how long ago it was !) an aluminum plate on a bed of JB weld . The sprayed it orange .
  3. To your " Andrew " GUS " Gale .....
  4. Looks like the chain has picked something up and thrown it against the tank . Had that happen to a 372 once and it punched a hole right through .
  5. Exactly where I was Paul ! Its odd that in all this time I have never noticed it before ....
  6. Ok Thanks . Never experienced it before though ... Strange .
  7. Breaking Bad !
  8. So it turned into a pear shaped fish . How bizarre
  9. Reducing a large plane today . I am on the ground Steve aloft . Both of us are coughing like made , sore yes and sneezing . Never suffered with hay fever before . Checked the radiator grill on the Jensen and it was covered in pollen. All symptoms have gone now I'm home . Anyone else had this with plane trees lately ?
  10. Then I would contest that finding especially if you have run the same batch of fuel in other saws . As long as the mix was correct and no more than a week or so old then you cant blame the fuel .
  11. Do you accept it was bad mix ?
  12. Just bosh him when it won't hot start !
  13. Are they saying why it nipped up . Did they check your fuel ? Coz if there is nothing wrong with that its either a massive air leak that the AT cant compensate for or a faulty carb ....
  14. Even worse the biter himself rolled around holding his teeth . I'm with Steve on soccer . 15 a side for me ...
  15. Did he learn that trick from Mike Tyson possibly ?
  16. Yep ok . Worth a try .I am no expert by any means but the little I have attempted resulted in ..The aluminum is there ...its still there ....bugger its run away ! Nothing to loose ...give it a try !
  17. Took down a largish pine . Close to a house being refurbished . Scaffolding , heating oil tank , garage roof . Everything roped down . 'Kin hot . betty swallocks ! Friend of the family ...In and out ....Home .
  18. Ok ( well not ok ) but plenty of " fixer uppers " on fleabay ....JB weld id good but in all honesty I think you need a new casting . Its right on an AV mount and wont last long .
  19. This is the right answer so far . Once you have established it was not you then do what every one else has said . Your situation with your neighbor can't get worse but may get better . If it doesn't you have lost nothing . Yopu will know you have done the right thing . You can do no more .
  20. The best 6" chipper is an 8" one ....
  21. I would move them in October . Dig the holes first , keep as much soil on the roots as possible . Don't put them too deep . Some bone meal in the bottom of the hole . Water . Let them " set " their roots ready to take off next spring .

    550xp or 365

Ok but if you just ignore ultimate hp figures and just concentrate on the difference , and say do it 3 times on each saw , take the average you will get a good idea of the gains you get with a MM on this particular saw is what I was getting at ...
  23. Is it a 385 ?
  24. Check it was the un mixed fuel and not an air leak from somewhere or you will be fixing it again ....
  25. My pleasure bud .
