    I do but... I am retired from full time cutting now . Do mostly my own fire wood and the odd job .
  2. As you rightly point out you will sacrifice torque . The only benefit I have found is when you have a ported saw on a shorter bar then you can make use of the faster chain speed . You put a bigger powermate on a standard saw and a relatively long bar and it will bog and struggle . I have some 9t .325 sprockets and some " racing " sprockets 12 and 14 pin but you need a highly tuned saw not an everyday working saw .

  4. Does not make logs bigger than the pre set allows but makes a few bits smaller , kindling size .
  5. Slow revving but high torque . 106cc .Get em running . Thread by eddy_t on here recently if that helps .

    I just get November out of the way and there they are ! All lined up and ready to go .

  16. Seals gone on the side that goes out . Hot thinner oil fnds the leak sooner than cold thicker oil . Just my guess .
  17. Cant see thee being a need to post notice that a tree is TPOed . Notice of proposed works on the tree , may be , but if the TO has agreed work then thats that and san fairy ann .
  18. They are better than the old ones in as much as the new ones don't fall over as they have a more stable base and you can see how much is in them through the transparent strip that goes from top to bottom .
