  1. Yep I have 4 Velux in my loft and opening them up on sunny days makes a huge difference .
  2. Was Al Capone a tree surgeon Kev ? Bet he never had any tickets ?
  3. File it under M for miracle with Beech !
  4. I bought one of the first to be available here in the UK . I think they have stopped importing them . Don't seem to advertise now anyway . The one thing that I did not like is the fact that the plastic parts on the securing straps rubbed the paint of my tail gate . No biggie as it was a work truck and a bit of a scrunter .
  5. I use Red Line Racing 2 stroke oil . ( have done for years ) I used to mix it with pump fuel but now mix it with Aspen or Husky equivalent at 50:1 . You can get it on line via Opie oils and othe vendors if you shop around . I'm pretty sure it exceeds , the spec of any of the top oils around .
  6. Oh . I wish you all you wish for yourself Alex . My brother went to Aus about 25 yeas ago . He is still there . After being in charge of a big chunk of the university of Western Australia in Perth , he has now retired and bought a restaurant . He is now working harder than ever !
  7. I'm still breathing Alex , thank you for asking bud . And yourself ?
  8. Slight de rail but when watching South Park why do the Canadians mouths go all the way round ?
  9. OK , fair play . Once you get on the steep banks in the pissing rain or the heat with all the flying insects , hidden root bowls , stumps , bramble , etc etc you will have found the answer to your question ( The realities of hand cutting ) Don't forget your little army spade and bog roll . I wish you luck matey , sincerely I do .
  10. The impulse line is the small " c " shaped line that goes from the carb to the crank case . This makes use of the alternate pressure / vacuum created by the piston going up and down .
  11. Remember . Its actually " Farmer Miggins "
  12. This is true . The very latest high top cover on the new 562 saws has a series of slots in the cover to help with the cooling .
  13. Its In your head I think . I have that set up . You can go a bit longer between cleanings though .
  14. That is a " utility " cut . Its crying out for some wires to go through the gap .
  15. I have that adjustment on mine ( its a bit older , 325 I think but essentially the same ) and at first I always went to tighten it on the wrong direction but once my head had it sorted its not been a problem .
  16. Just don't do any " Effing and Jeffing " Eggs mate and you'll be fine .
  17. I think the biggest mistake I made , around the time I bought my stove , was to put 2 big saws in the back of the chipper ( 385 and 394 ) , stop for a couple of doughnuts and then find them to be not there when we got home . Expensive doughnuts . No problem with the stove though .
  18. Thats a top tip if it works Khriss . Never heard that one before . ?
