    Thats my opinion also .
  3. I know Daren . He has worked with me and my buddie Steve. We were taking down some h.ch.nut in a school on the army base on Thorny Island . He is a good lad and willing to work hard . Recomended.
  4. Accurate observation me thinks . ho hum .

    Aldi saw

I should think that for less than £80 its not going to last very long but , for home owner stuff ? maybe . I don't want one though .
  6. Firstly I engrave on the back handle/tank and chain break cover where it can be seen then inside the the covers on any metal surface I can get too .
  7. If you wanted to be really picky it was a bit of a long beard on the hinge but hey, I would be really chuffed if I could do as neat a job . Don't think he posed at all . you need the axe to hang on to so you want it in the most convenient place . Good job I thought .
  8. Don't forget that when not oiling, as has been said , the heat build up will expand the bar causing a tightness of the chain but also the chain will stretch due to wear in the joining links, also through lack of lube , so when you get the oiling fixed you may run out of chain adjustment before the cutters are shot . just a thought .

    Fuel Mix

If you have an " auto tune " saw like a 560 or 550 Husqvarna then you should re set the auto tune when you change between fuel types by cutting continusly for 3-5mins and do it heavily , full length of the bar .
  11. I think the metal ones (with a ball end on the nose ) are fine as long as you pull the piston up gently . Having the decomp button pushed in helps . I'v never had any damage anyway and they don't sheer off .

Yea we sure did thanks . Second visit for us . Had a good look around the Kenedy space center this time . That Saturn 5 rocket is one big mother !
  13. Ok . Its chip we tip at Stubbs cops . our chip box full up is way cheaper than KPS but did not know the rate for un processed green wast . John Pitts at Woodhorn is even more than KPS so don't go there any more .

    Too hot

Just got back from the sunshine state . Rained every day any time between 3 and 5 pm sorta tropical thunderstorms down the " I 4 corridor " I think its called . Wall to wall sunshine all morning . 94-96f in the day with 90% humidity. High 80s at night . The grass looks like young wheat and grows about 2" a day ! Living in the Disney bubble ! ! !
  15. Its a bit of a treck but they are by far the cheapest I know of -- Stubbs cops at Cross bush near Arundell . Sadly they are no relation to me !

    Working cocker ( chocolate ) , cat ( white ) , horse ( bay) .
  17. Had it done years ago on my right hand only . ( was doing alot of track days on my blade and could not feel the throttle and more importantly the brake ) Day surgery in and out , about 4 stitches . It worked by the way . They say 6-8 weeks but that is up to you . your body will tell you .
  18. My 560 did not like an 8 pin . It was ok just nipping small stuff up but bury it in some big wood and the auto tune shut it down . Its fine in big wood on a 7 pin .
  19. Your best bet is to ask spud. He would advise savaging the o.e.m. cylinder if at all poss . Some of the after market kits are not so good . any way he will read this soon and be able to advise/sort it .
  20. Very dry spring with not much water when they should have been flushing in leaf ?
  21. My Claim to fame - - being faster than Ron through the first corner at Donnington on one of his race school firebades . I was slower preety much every where else though ! When it had all finished the instructers over laid the data logging with Rons lap to show where we were going wrong and it showed up there . Made I larf ! !
