  1. The Rope Runner is good for SRT and although not recommended can be used for dDRT which I have yet to try out.
  2. Hi all, We spotted a single white greasy capped mushroom (about 1.5 inches in length and same in width) up in the canopy on a length of deadwood of a Turkey Oak today (sorry no pictures). It was greasy to the touch and top centre of cap faded into dark grey in colour. No other signs of decay on the tree, would anybody be able to express what this could be please?
  3. Hi is there anyone that would be able to slaice/splice my ropes for me please?
  4. I see. Thanks for letting me know. Well I guess loler doesnt exist on Guernsey so I guess it will just have to be the straight splice work.
  5. Sorry to reiterate, the SAMSON will need the big eye treatment.
  6. I've got two ropes: COUGAR Blue 11.7mm, SAMSON Stable braid 14mm, that I need slaicing/splicing. The SAMSON will need the eye treatment and I need both ends for the COUGAR for various reasons. I also need a certified person to do the job and to stamp the ropes. I can pay upfront and for return delivery, upfront. Anybody keen out there? Luke.
  7. Ian what size webbing slings are you using there?
  8. I think tagging is beneficial if provided by a good artist in the correct place but tagging on trees is a complete disrespect to nature itself. As a former fine arts student I'm amazed at how you have gone about removing the tag from the tree. Very skilled work indeed!
  9. Anyone got any opinions on Cougar Blue as a work rope or have opened opened another can of worms?!
  10. Does anyone know where I could get a Blue Cougar rope in the UK?
  11. Yes very lucky indeed!
  12. Could anyone re-spliced my Yale Blue Tongue on both ends of the rope please? I will need to post it as I'm based in Guernsey. Best regards, Luke Kershaw
