  1. I have just been out to find one , there are some lying around as one comes with each saw you by ( recently bought a couple ) The plunger does spring up and down and it does pump grease . Used to grease bar tip but don't bother now for all the reasons mentioned .
  2. The 560 has the "new generation " saw handle which started with the 575 and the current 576 . I actually prefer it . I don't think you can get it with the smaller dia handle .
  3. Just to be sure -- You don't put the nozzle in the bar groove , you put it in the small hole on the side of the nose of the bar . Forgive me if that what you are doing . The only trouble I have with these is the red cap falls off all the time . Mine always pump grease through the hole into the sprocket nose though . There is a recent post suggesting its best to never grease them at all - - - -

    chain damage

Even different clean wood will make a difference . Oak will dull a chain sooner than , say poplar . Any kind of soil will take the edge off sometimes quicker than you think . As soon as the chip becomes dust you are forcing a dull chain .
  5. Check out the post " anyone having problems with the new 560" Save us all doing it again . The story of mine is in there .
  6. As long as it is a "special" and not the older plain old 365 . The special has the stronger bottom end , crank, bearings etc from a 372 . If you put a 372 top on an older 365 it might be too much for it . Just a thought .
  7. O.K. Stand corrected . Sorry .
  8. If the new pot and piston are OEM then I would think thats not a bad price ( pot and piston could easely be £150ish ) . If its an aftermarket, chineese pot and piston I would stay clear . I could be wrong on all of this as I am a Husqvarna man myself but I would say the same if it was a Husky .
  9. Hi Jon. Yep all seems fine now . Hotter plug , 2012 carb , and back to a 7 pin powermate rim . 18" bar . Don't know if it was one or a combination of things but its all good set up as above so I'm not tinkering with anything ! ! Thanks for asking bud .
  10. I expect they want to rush around the woods coppicing hazel
  11. Big old Sachs Dolmar on fleabay at the mo . Not sure what capacity the engine is but it comes with a 30" bar I think . Also no chain brake so may have been on a mill before ? Both tanks are filled from the same side . ( Its not mine by the way ! )
  12. It means it will only fit up the full length breach on Clint Eastwoods 357 . " Do you feel lucky punk ?- - Well do ya ! ?
  13. Maybe that's why there is not much interest in the one on flea bay then !
  14. I heard of some one having problems keeping saw dust the right side of the filter on a new Stihl 391 . This it seems happens pretty much as soon as you start cutting. Any one heard this of this ?
  15. Used my spud tuned 346 to day for a couple of hours , nothing short of awesom
  16. Yep it was near Perth . My bro works at the uni of WA in Perth .
  17. Maybe Jon, maybe. Never had a 60cc that would not run an 18" bar before tho'
  18. UPDATE UPDATE . Original saw with hot plug 2012 carb 18" bar +chain working fine . Worked it hard in big ash today , never stopped . Only tning I have done is go back to the standard 7 pin power mate rim . May be this was the problem all along ? Who knows . Hope this is the last of it .

    Fake 395XP

Yep I did that once . Buyer told me to mind my own biz . and if I persisted in bothering them they would report me too
  20. Stubby

    Fake 395XP

I used to do both . Sometimes the seller is innocent and responds accordingly, amending the listing to state its a " copy" the don't go as far as to say a useless fake . ebay do nothing cos they want the money . Ho Hum

    ladders !

The only ladder I go near is the one in my wifes stockings
  22. Hayter Osprey . Fitted new aluminium cutter disk . Well not new but not bent like mine . Now the swing blades touch the grass before anything else ! Works better that way .
