  1. i have just sold all my fire wood gear a month, after looking in the local paper this weekend i saw 9 adverts for people selling logs, and could think of at least another 5 that wernt advertising. i am just going to split enough to keep the home fire burning and keep a few friends in logs. all old customers that ring up are getting past on to the guy that now owns my processor in return for 1 load = 1pint.
  2. in a country obsessed with saving pennys importing cheap s**t, and people who only care for there own personal gain. this is hardly a supprise, and i can belive that who ever it was selling off cheap batches of ash slept soundly in bed that night safe in the knowledge that they made a few bob. i plant alot of trees and plant makes up 60 percent of my turnover, the land agent i work for has told me that w will not be planting any ash this season, and the thort that i might actually have planted infected trees from a nursery that have might import ash trees is tragic. this country is barmy when will we learn from oz u cant get a bag of crisp through border controll there!
  3. cant remember my password to put a proper add up so just going to put one here. i am selling my tractor and forwarding trailer, and a boughton winch. tractor ford 8210, 9500 hrs, e reg 1988, fully forest gaurded, big brash blade, full forest tyres right round (next to new condition) . trailer botex 10 ton trailer, 560 crane, 2005. winch 24 ton pto power in power out boughton winch. on the phone all day 07828459992
  4. hi, used a mate of mines 560 xp and another fellas 550p the other day to see what they were like very good saws. but why has the 560xp's got a much thicker handle? i have a 357xp and it hasnt got a big chunky handle and 550 doesnt either. felt abit numb in my little girls hands, the 550 was really nice tho:thumbup1: cracking saw. can you get the 560 with thinner handle?
