  10. Not a big fan of hard nose bars . I think they do need to be tight . Your oiler wants to be turned up to max ...Check it working ! that will cause the chain to go slack pretty quick . If your oiler is working and your drive sprocket is in good order and you still have the problem then try a sprocket nose bar .
  11. I found someone helping themselves to my wood . They did not realize it was mine . I asked them where they lived and asked if it would be o.k.for me to come round and have a look in their fridge cos I needed some milk ,eggs and butter . Oh and maybe I could have a peek in their garage for some spanners and a hammer cos I need them . They looked at me as if I was mad !
  12. The bar has to be lifted into the working position prior to tension . Turn the bar nuts finger tight , hold the saw by the back handle check the desired tension . , adjust if needs be . nip the nuts so the bar can't move down again . Now tighten fully pushing spanner forward at the same time causing downward pressure on the bar ,. and Alexander is a Mere Cat . Simples !
  13. She don't need a semi ...She is up for it !
  14. We have one , its total pants . We have 3x 200s and they get used first . There is no comparison . Just how it is with ours .
  15. Yea absolutely . These Li battery's don't have a memory . You can charge them from completely MT or half MT or fully charged ( pointless I admit ) but it won't affect their capacity unlike NiCad .
  16. Mmmm can't remember now Mike . May be I emagined it !
  17. Kin scum bags the lot of em .....
  18. Oh and all this stuff about not having a pro saw cos you are a girl .... the faster it cuts the less time you godda control it . If you are confident with a saw a pro saw is going to make life eraser . Just the way I see it . Get a 550 !
  19. Yep 15" bar as I said earlier . 550 is the way to go me thinks . Lighter and more nimble than a 346 ( I have a spud ported 346 which is another animal ) Its the future for a good while . Get a 550 , you owe it to your self ! Let us all know how you get on with whatever you decide .
