  1. Bitterly dissapointed > Solved the hot starting problem but still cuts out under load .Took down a rather large cherry to day . Chogging up the stump it stopped six times . Restated fine every time but just died in the cut . Gave up with it . Its got to go back again .

    Robbing

It is a total sickner with out a doubt . The tin lid is the police comment . The trouble is he is probably right . Most of the small police stations around here are closing . I am really sorry bud . Hope something good comes out of it >
  3. Got 560 back to day . New 2012 carb fitted and software loaded. It seems mine was a 2011 saw . All good so far
  4. Any saw from spud will be totally reliable and properly sorted . You could depend on it 100% with the added bonus - its a Husky !
  5. As I said eirlier " a good bigun will always beat a good littleun " Rule of thumb . If you are going to need a 15" bar max from what you say then I would sggest no smaller than 45cc . Of course if you went up to say 60cc it will rip through quicker . You just got to balance out cost and weight and so on .
  6. Don't know much about either of those two but I am in the Husqvarna camp mostly so would choose the Husky . You really need to reserch what they are aimed at . Ie home owner , semi pro etc etc . Then look at what you are going to subject them to and asses whether they are up to it power wise . Bigger power head smaller bar = faster cutting and so on .

    Chain oil

Used engine oil will contain minute particals of swarf and crud ( thats why its black) and so will accellarate bar and chain ware to a degree I would think . Oh and it stinlks !"
  8. Oh Steve I know you could pull of that little stunt , a man of your tallents !
  9. If its all beach its fine like it is . Mine is the same . No worriues bud .
  10. O.k. matey . thats good enough for me !

    Stihl 019t??

Hi Anthony . Good luck with your ticket bud . As for a 192 I have never used one but , I have seen a couple . I don't think they are as strong ( in Construction ) as a 200 and a smaller capacity ( less power ) . For some reason I have it in my head that they are popular in France . Don't know why . Sorry can't be more help .
  12. Hey Wooded I had a 372 for years and when the 575 came out I " up graded " But to be honest I did not like it It weighed the same as my 385 but with less power so I sold it and got another 372 . The way people rave about it I am thinking the new 576 is way better than the 575 that came before it .
  13. Could be a carb setting problem . Spud is yer man ! Ask him .
  14. A few years back I bought a "proper" west coast saw , big husky , 385 or 394 can't remember now , but what I do remember is it had a full skip chain with the rakers filed comletely down , full wrap handle and a twin port muffler . Big soft wood only me thinks .
  15. Yep probably Jon and if they only use it once in a while in thier garden it might last utill they die . As you know if they used it everyday five days a week the av mounts will fall apart it wont run right ( if it ever could ) and all the threads will strip . Ooo sounds like I could have tried one L.O.L. !
  16. Yea I know . Sorry to be so serious ! At the time I was insenced ! but know I don't give a flying fudge cake
  17. Steve mate I gave up reporting these about a year ago , even contacted Husqvarna and told em . Ebay just want the commision from a sale . I had all the details of the Chinese manufacturer and how it was "rebadged" after being sold to another ditributer i . Never got a responce from any one .
  18. You rotten sods . You forgot the chopper landing site to get every one to A and E !
  19. Hi Miker . Had a quick look on flea bay . Item numbers - 266 - #180838737190 . # 310663443682 . #280828593890 . 262 - # 280842571368 . There will be shed loads from time to time though . Good luck bud !
  20. Hi Steve . How you keepin' mate ? Been cutting hazel in he woods this week . Me and my buddie . We both used our 346 Huskys . What a huge difference between his and mine ! I got so used to mine I thought there was something wrong with his ! Never actually compared a standard one to your/our tuned one till now . I godda say they are poles apart . Its not till you do this that you appreciate , fully, what you did mate . BIG UP to you Steve ! ! ! ! Best regards Andy .

  21. I have always had woking cockers ( 5 infact over the years ) my old girle is retired now she is 13 and going a bit deaf now . She is soft as pudden ! Did chase a fox vesterday though !
  22. Yea quick to judge without all the facts maybe .
  23. Tried to help with sharpening, I thought .
  24. I had a motor bike once and it was maked with these little micro dot things , DATA TAG it was called . you can't see them but if your kit gets nicked and the police manage to recover it they put a scanner over it and it comes up with all your details . More expensive than engraving but has sticker to say its data tagged and so might put them off as they would have to replace every part of the saw to be sure there was no micro dots left and that would be pointless . Still got to recover your kit first though .
