  1. I have just bought one . Tried it out today on a load of logs and it works a treat . As has been said you could empty the whole load on to the ground in seconds or dribble it into a barrow . Saves a hell of allot of arse ache ! Get one !
  2. Hi Steve . Are you well mate ? hope so . 346 still punching above its weight . How would you feel about working your stuff on my 395 ? It has a twin port muffler already but I suspect that's about all but don't know for sure . It's performing as it should at the moment . just thought if you could do to it what you did to my 346 it would be even better . What do you think bud ? Regards Andy .

  3. Depends were you have done most of your work and how old you are. If you have been up trees all your life it will be the 020 .If you have been in the woods all your life it will be Huskys 254 . In another 10 years time i suspect it will be the brilliant 560 . Its all subjective and relative and that and stuff and thingy .
  4. All in all probably the most sensible answer yet when all is considered. I wish to amend my answer to the same as miker .
  5. Yea, Stitched up like a kipper !
  6. Yep , fair comment . I think/hope I have had all the problems fixed ! Actually had 2 saws for a few weeks , husky gave me a loaner whilst they fixed mine . told me to run both for a while . Given it back now as mine seems to be sorted now . Hotter spark plug new revised carb new ignition map . Now it a stonker . Have you tried one yet ?
  7. Second that . Hsusqvarna 560 13",15", 18" The best 60cc saw ever made !
  8. Yep . Think you are right !
  9. O.K. could be wrong .
  10. Can't you see , He is holding a lhitS in his pic ? opps sorry , partially literate !
  11. I think they make chains for " Carlton" and " Sarrp" But I don't know about a difference in quality . You sure he is not talking about pro chain against low kick back home owner stuff ?
  12. Like the idea of being able to do the kindling on a separate ram but same machine .
  13. Then get another new bearing, then get another new bearing , then get---------------------------
  14. Thanks for all the ideas you guys . Firstly only put a price in not actually got it yet . Its in a back garden so no crane, forwarder , tractor etc . Think its going to be one of those mammoth wheel barrow jobs ! !
  15. Pissing down . Sharpened every saw I got , air filters spotless . Pile of oily sawdust will make good fire liters . Tomorrow looks bad as well . Still got some grass to cut
  16. Thanks for that Tom . The thing is they want it gone. Extraction in plankable lenghts will be tricky to say the least . Shame I know .
  17. Hi all . Not sure were to post this so general chat it is . Just put in a price to take down a red wood . Its dead . No room to fell it from the ground but plenty of room to section down so that's all good . Not much brash to chip . The thing is at least of 8 feet diameter at the fat end . Seems there will be a mountain of wood . Its all got to go . Not had much to do with them before other than viewing in the arboretum in the back of West Dean collage near were I live . All I know is the bark is kinda spongy and soft . Will there be any use for the timber ? Planking, turning, burning ??? Opinions any one ?
  18. Remind me to never get in the way of one of your farts Matty !
  19. Perfect working order, thought he wanted a " dooer upper " ?
  20. Start by saying I can do it if that's what you really want but -----
  21. I don't want to get into a SvH war , its been done to death . I have one Stihl , ms200t and its great . The rest of my saws are the big H . From a 346 ( spud tuned ) to 560, 372,390,395, and a 3120 . I can vouch for them all . I can't knock any Stihl ground saws as I don't have any . If you wan't a 560 go for it . Had problems with mine to begin but all sorted now . If poss get a 2012 model rather than an older 2011 saw . When/if you get one it suits 15" to 18" bars best . You have to set the auto tune . It tells you in the book . Not all dealers are aware of this ( mine wasn't) They are absolute flyers . I still get a grin on when using mine . Good luck what ever .
