Some interesting design details in that axe. I see from the video that you split around the log rather than across. This seems to give fairly small logs, can you split into bigger pieces or does the axe not work well like that? Would love to give it a try but to be honest the price at 191 euros plus shipping is far too high for me to even think about buying one.

Just got an old Zetor 3545 mainly to run the splitter etc. Looking to fit a free flow return to it but not too sure where it can go. Anyone got any experience of these old Zetors?

Quick answer is yes I have done it and yes it will fit straight on. Even quicker answer is NO!!! Don't put a cheap p&c kit on. I've spent a fortune on mine and have ended up getting a genuine 660 p&c kit which I HOPE will be ok but only time will tell. I'm sure Spud will be along soon to give his thoughts, he's been more than helpful to me whilst I've been trying to sort this saw out. :thumbup:

Just had an email from amazon.com in the states offering me 6 different fiskars axes from the X27 to the X7. Just for a laugh I tried again to buy the X27 and it wouldn't let me but I could buy the X25 if I wanted it. Seems to me that Fiskars may be the ones stopping the sale of the X27 not amazon.

I was recently looking for Husky parts and originally ordered from a supplier I found on the internet, after 2 weeks in which they had lost my parts and my CREDIT CARD details I cancelled the order and phoned F R Jones, they got the parts to me quickly with no fuss.

Following on from my thread about parts supply problems http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/43756-stihl-parts-supplier.html I thought it would be good to post a follow up thread about some really good service. Firstly F.R.Jones First class service for some husky 254 parts I was after, phoning to let me know there was going to be a delay was great! Got my Stihl parts from LSEngineers again great service Lastly I got a fast-tach from Tiny-Tach. Really fast service and found Richard to be great in replying to my questions. Ordered Friday morning, dispatched Friday afternoon,arrived Royal Mail recorded delivery on Saturday morning :thumbup:
