  1. Think you may need to check your link Rob
  2. Clicking on reviews comes up with Internal Server Error
  3. All of them if they're dry.
  4. Not strange at all. I was a bit worried a few years ago when mine started talking back but thats totally normal now:thumbup:
  5. Getting it as well, can't see pictures in posts either. Keep fighting with it Steve, sure you'll get there in the end. We all appreaciate your efforts.
  6. done
  7. Just had a look and would echo the above, fonts need to be bigger through out and the picture file sizes need to be a LOT smaller. Just because I am also a pedant I timed how long it took to open one of them (sorrow, sycamore) and on my slow (1/2 meg) connection it took 1min 15 seconds, no one is going to view more than 1 or 2 photos at that speed. 100kb is more than adaquate for any picture to be viewed on a normal screen.
  8. I've got the chance of getting my hands on this elm. Not sure the best way to mill it, cut burrs off first and sell? mill just as it is? It is about 8 meters long in total and about 2' thick (plus burrs, so about 2'6"-3') Will have to be milled with an alaskan as that's all I have and access is poor so has to be extracted by hand. (20 meters through wood and then lifted over a deer fence) Swiss army knife in second pic to give idea of size - if you can see it. Thanks
  9. Thanks Rob All makes more sense now, will be interested to see part 2. Clever use of the wooden supports for the first cut.
  10. Here's one of today's snow showers just about to hit. Gave a nice snowbow though.
  11. Do they have to be wood? Have wondered about using blue water pipe, anyone tried this, any thoughts? P.S. Used a couple of bits of tanalised recently to support a piece of sycamore for a couple of days and had to sand out the green stains.
  12. Nice one Rob Just been and had a look, will be putting an order in sometime.
  13. What do you reckon to this then [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR7Gnw98E8o&feature=endscreen&NR=1]Can Cervera - Chainsaw support now with safety bar, firewood processing. - YouTube[/ame]
  14. But Royal Mail goes everywhere every day, couriers turn up here eventually. For me choice is the best option to offer a customer, a choice of service versus cost.
  15. Thanks for that Rob. looks like I need to try a few different types soon, always used Stihl. Any idea when you're getting the Save Edge in?

    Boots

In the same boat as you, not using them full time so I wanted something comfortable straight out of the box. Went for Lavoro Sherwoods. Really comfy and seem to be lasting well enough but probably not given them enough use to be sure about that bit

It's the Mull Rally this weekend, nearly the whole island becomes rally mad and we all get very little sleep. Gasho - YouTube[/ame] Really looking forward to it again, shows how amazing these guys are when it's roads you drive along every day, takes me 10 minuites to get along the same road. Official website here with another vid Mull Rally
  19. That's a bigun You do realise we expect photos and videos though don't you Surprised at the low speed of the cutting head, not the cutting speed as such but the raise/lower and return speed.
  20. Just logged on to ebay and as usual up came my recent searches, all from late last night. According to the other half I can't have any of them. In order of viewing - microplus boat shetland boat orkney boat microlight hovercraft amphibious vehicle ! Bearing in mind this is the view from my doorstep I think I should get one of each

    Bench help

Thanks a lot for all the replies, plenty of options to think about. At the moment I am still leaning towards fixing straight down into the legs. Not sure though, you guys have suggested ideas that I hadn't thought of yet so some more thinking time is needed. Any other suggestions welcomed though.
  24. You need to count the drive links, the ones that run in the bar groove
