  2. No pressure then Best of luck
  3. When I lived in Somerset my local garage had a sign up saying "This music is for the use of staff only, would all customers please refrain from listening" Can't see it would work if the licensing guys came round but it made me laugh

Wife comes out and says they have a couple of bottles of wine left that aren't worth taking home, would I like them? Yes please says I, she comes back with 2 bottles, one with 2" of wine in the bottom, other with 1". Had to laugh. :laugh1:

  9. I think I have seen this done before, mainly in the U.S. if I remember right. Not sure how safe it is though, sure someone else will be along with some better info.
  10. Google Fiskars X27, you can buy them in the UK but they are a complete rip off, £123 I think. That's why we are all getting them from abroad.

  12. Just read this thread and I have no idea what you 2 are talking about except for a passing reference to ice hockey:laugh1:
  13. Worth reading the HSE press release Unsafe tree work leads to fine for Lincolnshire man lists and explains the regulations he breached. Also says his employee was also using a saw without training or PPE, may explain the fine a little more.
  14. Can't believe that this country has got to the point where you can get fined £6000 for being a bit stupid. As far as I can tell the bloke did no damage and hurt nobody. Wonder if the chap has been round for a quiet chat with the bloke "trained in assessing chainsaw work"
  15. I wouldn't have too much faith in the dealer in that case! Try contacting Rob D, he's one of the site sponsors on here and runs www.chainsawbars.co.uk He'll sort you out with the right gear.
  16. Just amazing. What a great team. Thought they had left it too late to catch the breakaway though

  25. What a great offer, as mentioned you won't get fairer than that. BTW The grinder is excellent, always use mine for sharpening my milling chains.
