  1. Post Office, they've been doing it a lot longer that the rest of them!
  2. Hi from the Isle of Mull
  3. Just had an email from amazon.com in the states offering me 6 different fiskars axes from the X27 to the X7. Just for a laugh I tried again to buy the X27 and it wouldn't let me but I could buy the X25 if I wanted it. Seems to me that Fiskars may be the ones stopping the sale of the X27 not amazon.
  4. I was recently looking for Husky parts and originally ordered from a supplier I found on the internet, after 2 weeks in which they had lost my parts and my CREDIT CARD details I cancelled the order and phoned F R Jones, they got the parts to me quickly with no fuss.
  5. one on ebay - starting at £65 + £10 postage FISKARS X27 LOG SPLITTING AXE FOR FIREWOOD/FORESTRY/TREE SURGEON | eBay

    Good Service!

Following on from my thread about parts supply problems http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/43756-stihl-parts-supplier.html I thought it would be good to post a follow up thread about some really good service. Firstly F.R.Jones First class service for some husky 254 parts I was after, phoning to let me know there was going to be a delay was great! Got my Stihl parts from LSEngineers again great service Lastly I got a fast-tach from Tiny-Tach. Really fast service and found Richard to be great in replying to my questions. Ordered Friday morning, dispatched Friday afternoon, arrived Royal Mail recorded delivery on Saturday morning

  14. Anyone like to put up any photos of their jointing Especially like the sound of the index bolts, are you covering them with a plug or just recessing them?
  15. As Big J said there was a thread about this the other day. It had enough info on it to convince me I don't need to 1/4 saw anything until I know a LOT more about the actual milling
  16. Now that's just mean  Will teach em a lesson though

  23. Good tip Was using a chalk line the other day but one of these would be handy as well
  24. My O/H has just started using my saws, cross cutting firewood mainly. Time has come to get her own set of PPE (can't keep borrowing mine) Her grandparents have kindly offered to pay up to £500 for this All suggestions welcome, obviously don't have to spend it all!!
