  1. Also check its def coming from fuel cap. Could be leaky tank breather
  2. Check threads are good and inspect fpr cracks around opening
  3. Fuel is the same though
  4. Bought a set of 3 for a 357. didnt get to sharpen them once. They all broke before i had the chance. Total waste of time
  5. Just wack some stove polish on. Very easy and looks ok, no faff
  6. Keep hearing about buzzweld products whenever i mention waxoyl. Ive still got 10l of waxoyl to use up before i investigate though
  7. Others may disagree but id certainly be having a go with that cylinder and replacing the piston with a meteor one. Bit hard to tell in the pic but id say the piston is shot and the meteor ones are decent and 25 or 30 quid ( come with decent caber rings)
  8. Cant seem to attach pics from the website only the app
  9. Been a while but finally managed to get a bit more done. Have running water off a pump, a dickhead sound system, stove ( nice little jotul 600), triple bunks ( middle one folds away to make seat), fridge ( with cold beer), extra seats and installed 3 seat belted extra seats. Long way to go ( sorry its so messy but you get the idea) but its coming on
  10. Sounds great. Pics please! Just out of interest did you fit the standard mk3 2l engine with a turbo or have you changed the engine out for a 2lt?
  11. Tbh its pretty slow and low gears on hills. But always gets you there! Its always a bit of shock getting back in it after driving around in the other motor which has a 3.0td. Have occaisonally had to stick it in low box on very steep hills with chipper and load on, usually only if i have met someone coming down and had to stop. But i love it. Its a 1996 and in 2 and bit years its needed a uj, brake pads, hand brake adjusting and exhaust tightening. Have thought about changing engine for a 1kzte or 2lt but dont reckon they are as reliable. And the 5l ( na 3litre) are like hens teeth. Is yours a double cab?
  12. Just out of interest whats the price tag on the swift?
  13. Tbh as a kid i know which one would be more fun to play in
  14. Nah, im too grumpy about duchy and his castles. Really i should go and have deeks does look like a good project.
  15. Depends on the branch/bit of tree i reckon. I have used stainless coach bolts and threaded bar ( toolstation) and also hung bits off hooped 8mm wire rope ( going through fat placcy pipe so not to dig into tree) to somewhere up above if there us anywhere. I have also created a sort of brace with 2 threaded bars and some 6x4's to hang a beam off - my idea was to not create a complete constriction in cambium as with a choked cable etc. You can buy slidey tree house mounts but they are crazy money All depends on the scale of yer project. Pretty easy to make a post going to ground in places where no suitable limbs
  16. Mmmm my gut feeling is if its low hours, if you speak to right electrical magician the generator side of it will be fixable. What make is the unit? I know stephill are pretty helpful on the phone, worth a call to whoever made it ( cant remember if you have said.)
  17. Is that at 100v or 240v? Can you get a multimeter on it?if 100v probably drill would be running slow
  18. Depending on what you did to tune it. Factory settings are about 1 and 1/4 turns out from fully in on the h and l screw. This get the saw running if its what you did to it thats stopped it! Good luck
  19. Well ended up buying a caged 8x5 idespension tipper. Squeezes on but dont look too well balanced ( either way input it on was a bit back heavy. Will do for know bit will be keeping an eye out for a 10 or 12 x 5 plant i reckons
  20. Real pleased i just bought a tracked chipper and tipping trailer now. Ye gods
