  1. I reckon when the suppliers have been this decent about making sure you get your loan saw, and organising the pickup of the recalled one with minimum hassle to the user, it's the least we can do to make sure that it's boxed up ready for collection on time.
  2. Mine wasn't. Apologies to the mods.
  3. Condescending dick.
  4. How much you looking for?
  5. Is it the 2001 fixed bollard? Or the 2000 floating type?
  6. Ooh someone's had a couple of shandies! It's worth dropping it in to your dealer for a look, you'll get a lot further than just asking "what's wrong with my blower" online! The price of repair is valid, a dealer should at least be able to tell you if it's beyond economical repair, or just needs a quick tune. Are you really struggling to see the logic?
  7. So enlighten me. In this case would that not be the best course of action? Depending on how much the machine cost a repair will likely not be worth it.
  8. If it's used one a month two week down time isn't an issue really. Even less when you have a handheld backup.
  9. Don't listen to Rob. That stem is worth thousands.
  10. Cheers TCD, spoken to them but it was just a bit far for 'em. Oh that hurt Johnny!
  11. Hi mate. No pm received yet. Give us a ring tomorrow. I'll pm you my number.
  12. Well you can forget about the logs then.
  13. Nice, wipe down seats? Anyway, if you don't want the logs can you naff off and ban someone or whatever it is you do?
  14. I'm not, but I figured you were.
  15. Would he actually graft for a few years before?
  16. Make me an offer. I reckon it's easily a dozen loads in that Datsun of yours.
  17. Offers welcome. Not my firm. I'm just hoping to be able to tip again! All good if someone takes it. If not it'll smoulder for weeks!
  18. Why not?
  19. Our B&Q shredder takes up to 1.5"
  20. So we've got a few logs that we don't need... Mixed Arb waste, fair bit of softwood. Some seasoned some fresh. Access for a lorry, possible availability of a loader. Halfords trailer owners need not bother
  21. Can you not get .404 stone for the grand berg sharpener?
  22. I would have thought that the manufacturer would have been obliged to take more thorough action to notify the owner, rather than in a few newspapers. Especially as the product had the potential to catch fire in the buyers house (which I believe is where most people would keep a £1000 tv)! Did the supplier have any contact details?
  23. http://www.treekit.com/srt/srt-accessories/srt-dyneema-link.html There you go bud. I made one from Vectran with a core dependant Brummell. Left the cover on for show more than anything.
  24. Did he accept that? Did the supplier have his contact info? If have been onto trading standards.
  25. It's a dyneema spliced link if memory serves
