  1. Give them a price to leave chip and logs in the garden, and a much higher price to remove all waste. At least if they want it all gone you'll have enough on it to get a couple more pairs of boots on the deck and a bit extra for yourself.
  2. I do. I won't borrow money if they're gonna charge me for paying it ack early. I'll still pay back the full amount plus their interest, but early repayment charges are bullshit!
  3. ALWAYS get early repayments FOC!
  4. I spotted the soft fid whilst I was Facebook stalking Tommy. Definitely worth a punt over my homemade fids that perforate my hands. You pulled the strands from the mark moving towards the end? Sounds like hard work! Gotta get back into it soon. My first step would have to be organising myself a work space. Kneeling in front of the coffee table gets painful after a while. (There you go Mark, nice easy one for you).
  5. I usually go to your mums for that type of fun.
  6. What do you use to mark the cover on the Sirius Jake? I need a proper workbench. I keep getting my ear chewed off for leaving frays of rope and bits of welding wire on the carpet.
  7. I love the werewolves. Use them in the warm weather for pretty much everything. Climbing, ground work (when I can't get out of it), walking to the pub... Proper comfy boot. You're very aware of where your toes are too.
  8. I'd love to see a short clip mount like on the T540xp. It's my favourite thing about that saw, if Echo could sort that it'd be perfect. Oh, and supply it with a 0.043 b&c, in 8" and 10" lengths. And the o-ring on the fuel cap comes off occasionally. It's help captive by the bit of string that keeps the cap attached to the saw though.
  9. Yep, fair play to them. I wonder if the new model will have a cat muffler? Should I have had an email Rob?
  10. Send one to Reg, maybe he'll do a video for you.
  11. No the Echo was for myself. Did they work?
  12. You have very smooth hands. Do you moisturise?
  13. Hypothetically, Rob, what would happen if one were to continue using the 2510 (accepting the risk of spontaneous incineration) until the 2511 were released? While we're on hypotheticals, if a person had bought one of these Echos, and removed/lost the spark screen/retaining screw, and trimmed the exhaust cover, would Echo still be happy to take that saw back?
  14. Don't lend saws out if you can't afford to replace them. My saws only use fuel that I've personally mixed. Not that I don't trust people per se, but people just don't take the same care with a borrowed saw that they would if they've bought it with their hard earned.
  15. Worked for me. Just clicked 'watch on YouTube' Stick with White Lies. Proper track that. The tree work was pretty good too.
  16. Who cares if they're tougher? They look flipping awesome! Dammit Rob, you're killing me!
  17. Oh. Crap. I ca drop mine in on the 18th if you're about?
  18. 2nd Keith. You wouldn't mess with him though. Got a scary look in his eye!
  19. I can't really see the point of the x rings. They look good but I can't really see any advantage to them. Most of my rigging is done with an ISC swing cheek, ally rigging crab and home made whoopie sling. You should be able to get all that for under £100 The block pulley and big boy rope rarely gets used. Only for blocking down big stems, which isn't very often.
  20. Don't know, I just don't like the Marlowe ever since I spliced it. I use 12mm Sirius for the majority of rigging. The 18mm line only gets used for blocking down big ass stems. I have really pushed the 12mm on rigging limbs, and it's still going strong.
  21. Sirius is tough as hell. I keep trying to break it! Marlowe rope is okay too, but I'd go with the Sirius.
  22. Worth a watch:
  23. It's not m tronic. Bloody good saw though. 25" is pretty much max, I run 20" on mine and it's brilliant.
  24. Of course you can.
