  1. Once done it's permanent free advertising and looks more professional imo, personally I wouldn't bother with wrapping, they are printed and fade over time and start to look nasty when they do, although the inks used are getting better and are lasting longer, and £2k is way ott for wrapping a hilux. I had thought about wrapping the landy but I can get it repainted and signwriten for far less than a wrap. A decent sign firm should be able to make it look tastefully done in normal vinyl.
  2. Assuming the fuel filter isn't blocked ? My ranger has now done it twice where I parked it up, went back to it later and it wouldn't start, changed fuel filter and all was fine.
  3. Dropside transit ? try truck r us in ipswich Or have a word with Mission Logistics Ltd at witham, they have moved odd large stuff for us before, might mean paying for 4 pallet spaces but worth a try.
  4. Ouch Don't beat yourself up over it, I moved my digger out of the yard (where it was covered by a block policy) a few weeks earlier and forgot to change it's cover when I took it to the farm I don't have much in the line of saws and strimmers but if I can help PM me
  5. Sorry to hear I think we are all guilty of dropping our guard, we get used to taking the bother to make sure everything is as secure as we can but then after I while we let it slip, Dropping my guard was partly to blame for loosing my digger and trailer. I get up at the slightest noise now though after last time. Hope you get paid out without too much grief. Out of interest what part of Essex ?
  6. Well from his point of view I would'nt even consider employing a subby who turns up with he's name on the truck, from experience it causes far too many problems. if it's on steel just get some magnetic panels to cover them when you work for him, that or stop working for him.
  7. I have burnt lots of the stuff, so long as it's dry it burns a treat, especially when mixed with some softwood. I would jump at more of it if I get offered it.
  8. Just the standard light setup for me Jon I don't find them that bad
  9. Standard lights and plenty of carrots
  10. Sorry Daniel that's a nice trailer but that headboard looks so out of place imo, is that standard brian james fitment because it looks like someone bolted some dexion to it as an afterthought. I might have a look at brian james for my next crane trailer base
  11. Hope you are Having a good day Jon Happy birthday
  12. Bandit: every paint shops nightmare Some nice kit though
  13. Looks like an affiliate link to me
  14. One of the best things I have done business wise is take card payments with a proper mobile terminal. Been covered on here a dozen times though. We take more than enough extra trade through taking cards to cover the costs.
  15. I have a set of grabbers that have deformed on a ranger, loads of tread left but only a couple of years old. I would pay the extra and go for BFG but have been pretty impressed with a maxxis buckshot I have been running
  16. Wouldn't mind owning this one, shame it's a petrol though Ibex 6x6
  17. They are all ok until you have problems, be it their's or your own.
  18. Don't expect to get any better with barclays. I have been with them for 34 years, god only knows why, their business banking is a joke but I do have the most excellent personal account manager, and he is the only reason I stay.
  19. Dunno why this vision came into my head Must be bored tonight
  20. Cue the Benny Hill music Good you got your keys back though Jon
  21. Best to put it down using a nice big very hot blow lamp What would you expect from a turf grower Would sand not move about underneath though as is has no roots to stabilise it ? I thought hoggin was used underneath
  22. Sorry to hear about your loss mate
  23. I was looking into this for my bonfig crane and got scared by the price, one of the problems being they ideally need to be proportional so you can feather them which added a lot to the price.
  24. This thread must have been a jinx, since posting I have had a real bad week, absolutely nothing has worked, has anyone else been having it bad ? I have never had it this bad this early in the year.
