  1. Nice idea but you are going to need a machine with a pretty substantial hydraulic supply according to the brochure spec
  2. Holly thread revival You need to keep the dish shape in the middle to keep a cutting edge.
  3. They do but some people think they don't, personally I would not want to be the owner of it if it was involved in a serious accident if it wasn't done properly.
  4. Trimax do a decent range, we have had 3 of there biggest procut mowers but the last one was a let down build quality wise, they are pricey compared to wessex though
  5. Tbh I would rather have the chipper behind them
  6. I have had hayfever since I was very young, not the ideal profession for a turf grower I have tried or been put on pretty much everything, I highly recommend the Haymax that was linked to above, whatever antihistamines you try will eventually not work as your body gets used to them, so try alternating them and only use them if essential and nothing else is working. My routine is now haymax, and a spoonful of local solid set honey every day, then if needed over the counter antihistamines and if they don't work neoclarytyn, beconase and eye drops. I also have a high volume air purifier with hepa filters going most of the day in the house which makes a heck of a difference.
  7. I had a ctek xs25000 which is a big charger but it cooked a couple of batteries, it said from 40-500 amp but it was way too powerful, so I bought a ctek xs7000 which has been a fantastic little charger, charges any big batteries overnight.
  8. pants here, been overcast, drizzle and cold all day
  9. If you are spending that sort of money then I would go for the diesel, The saving in fuel costs will be quite significant.
  10. I think some shooting people change how they feel about stuff like that as they get older, I know I certainly have, and a few people I know have as well.
  11. I'm assuming you asked what happened before going off your head at her ?
  12. That is really nice, love the detail on it. How many hours has gone into it ?
  13. I just got my annual bill for my BOC Y size bottle via the volkzone deal and it's £45 for this year, well worth it and a considerable saving over the normal BOC price.
  14. Anything that makes your life easier is a worth while investment imo Have you actually managed to get a price from boxer ?, if you have then you are doing better than several on here, myself included.
  15. Was the card save £450 an upfront fee with no monthly charge for the machine ? iirc setup was free and you pay £25 monthly for the machine. That aside they are pretty crap anyway imo I am probably going to go to barclays this year when the contract is due for renewal. The paypal thing looks unprofessional imo
  16. Very Lucky indeed, glad everyone is alright.
  17. There is a recommended depth iirc, but it appears cable companies put them in as shallow as they can to avoid hard work. When we went through a fibre optic that was 25mm under the ground Virgin repaired it foc but I think mainly because the customer was going to cancel their subscription with them if they didn't
  18. Well the rebuilt has been earning it's keep lately I am going to try get a set of mach 5 wheels for it now

  20. If it's a paying job it would look very unprofessional imo And surely the extra time and wear on that little thing would make it better to hire a proper machine ? Just my opinion
  21. Good luck with that one way too much for it imo
  22. you need to consider whip in the crane when you stop and start lifting which then transmits to the chassis, especially when the boom is out, higher flow rate will create more whip, I am not sure what flow rate a power pack has but you may need to restrict the flow to help prevent it. Tbh I know a lot of people put them on the drawbar but it's a really bad idea imo, far too much nose weight, I have to unfold mine out to the back when empty, and mine isn't even on the drawbar.
  23. Depending on how much you want to spend I would consider a new block with relief built in, or find a s/h one
