  1. Flowfit online for the pump and coupling and a 5hp loncin off ebay for about £130, will be a better solution imo. Then you will need a relief valve
  2. I am expecting the renewals in soon but I have both landies with the NFU, having had a claim with them I work on the principle that so long as the difference isn't too huge they are worth the extra, they also agreed prior to insuring that the rebuilt 130 is not a standard 130 and is not valued at the standard book value.
  3. I finally managed to replace my old kx61 that was stolen, kept debating between new or s/h, 2.7ton or 1.5ton, then out of the blue I got offered a very nice JCB early type 801.4 this week so couldn't refuse it. I have remembered to insure it this time though.
  4. Sorry to hear that, god i'm getting sick of saying that. Will keep an eye and ear out for them, as you aren't too far away.

    Oh YES!!

    Not quite that bad mate
  6. Ebay are unethical scum bags. The so called seller has now put me on his blacklist, oh well time for more fake ebay accounts I think. This really annoys the hell out of me.
  7. reported it to ebay as soon as they appeared, not been pulled yet and tbh they don't really care it appears. Someone poor person will probably get ripped off, bet they would soon put a stop to it if it lost them money. But the bugger cancelled my £75k bid on the 190 case
  8. I tried one of the smaller avant's and didn't rate it at all for pushing into heaps of materials, it just didn't have the pushing power to get a decent bucket full. I used to own one of the very early larger kramer loaders (still borrow it now and then) and it's a very well built powerful piece of kit. Wish I knew what the optimum handler is
  9. With friends like that who needs enemies ? Tell them to go find some another friend to do their favours for them. My old boss always used to say "I have a shed full of favours"
  10. what's with the different colour, were some rolled up for a few days ? For cutting we use quick blade change stanley knifes and buy blades in bulk packs.
  11. I was considering going for this myself but have a million other things going on atm and it will just sit about. May be of interest to some trekkasaw not long to go though
  12. Blimey I am impressed with their response, called me back 5 mins after I contacted them on their website, very helpful.
  13. I am having the same problem with boxer, tbh I wouldn't deal with them now, if they are that bad at giving a price I dread to think what getting parts is like. Thanks for the offer but a bit far to come. I think I will get a demo booked, mostly it will be working a power rake anyway.
  14. Is that the little 2 series ? I have one of these on my possible list, as it is narrower than anything else out there and by quite a bit aswell, only thing is they lift bugger all compared to the others.
  15. Having spoken to Dean today about these, Bandit have decided not to go into production with them.
  16. My seed rep was a bit surprised when I asked for a bag of clover seed, much less hassle than grass.
  17. Depending on how big an area, raking, scarifying or treatment, ferrous sulphate works well, but not sure where you would get it. Normally caused by bad drainage so it would help to aerate the soil, usually spiking or coring. Edit: beaten to it
  18. That's what I thought and I know it used to be the case, but they said if there was cable damage within the boundary then it would be charged for.
  19. That was the case, however I was informed a few weeks ago when my dads line went out that the wire from the boundary line in is now your responsibility.
  20. Such a shame that there appears to be no manufacturers of mini skidsteers in the UK, unless someone knows different ?

    Home brewing

I do a bit, stopped doing it for years but started again last year recently done a muntons fruit cider for the boss and a betterbrew pilsner for me (nearly all gone), next on the list is st peters cream stout. Very satisfying even if it isn't full blown homebrew
  22. Thanks for the offer I may well take you up on that depending on when Les is coming down. We have some fairly heavy clay around this area, how do they perform on clay soils ?, I know it's hard to get anything to do a decent job on clay.
  23. There was a deal recently on the 420 at just under £12k new, I tried a nearly new one and I can see they would be a useful tool but it didn't have enough pushing power for me to want to buy one. But the 600 series are supposed to be a completely different beast but has a fair price tag as well, somewhere around the £22k mark from what I can remember for the 635.
